My wife and I feel that this is the most authentic Mexican food in Gainesville. The chips and salsa are fresh and delicious. Also, their prices are very reasonable compared to many other local options whose prices (for similar entrees) are way too expensive. They also offer great lunch specials!
Place was pretty empty, came here for Lunch on a monday afternoon. Were sat down upon entry, the wait staff took a while to come back around to take orders. Forgot to bring things. Food came out and it was cold, the rice tasted reheated. First and probably last time here.
What a drive for lunch. Ot was an hour and 35 minutes. I am happy to say it was worth it. The food was delicious. The servers were very good. The atmosphere was nice. I hope to back someday. Definitely recommend giving then a try.
