Peruvian Food Blessing

This was hands down the worst Peruvian food I’ve ever had in my life. I came in hopeful, but left completely let down. The ceviche was warm—which is not only unappetizing, it’s borderline unsafe. The tallarines verdes were terrible, lacking flavor and freshness. The lomo saltado was the only decent dish, but even that tasted more like a homemade version than anything restaurant-worthy. The biggest heartbreak? The papa a la huancaína (my all-time favorite dish) was so bad I couldn’t even eat it. The sauce was off, and the potatoes were undercooked.

The decor is tacky and uninviting, with bland Christian music playing nonstop, which really killed the vibe. Presentation was mediocre across the board. Customer service wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either—just kind of… there.

And for food this bad, the prices were way too high. I left feeling disappointed, unsatisfied, and like I wasted both my money and my appetite. Sadly, this place missed the mark on almost every front. I won’t be coming back.

Prices are insanity.

Just left after having maybe the best date of my life. Amazingly friendly and attentive service added to our fantastic night. The ceviche with leche de Tigre was out of this world, and I’ve had fresh conch ceviche on the beach in Belize. This blew that out of the water.

Food is very delicious! There are a variety of peruvian cuisine dishes that will fill your appetite. This restaurant will not dissapoint.

I was craving ceviche and I found this place and they serve really delicious ceviche. I would definitely come back some day! The music is great.

I have had both items that purchased at different establishments and I must say, this place has to be the worst. There was very little flavor in the food (Arroz Chaufa) and the rice seemed mixed with stale rice as well as the drink (Chicha Morada)...it was way too watered down. I ordered it without ice, so I know that couldn't have been the problem....

I won't try this restaurant again. First impressions give a lasting effect.

The food and the owners of this establishment are rude, discriminating and have poor customer service, I don’t recommend coming to this restaurant. After letting them know that we did not like the food, - we explained why the ceviche smelled and tasted awful, chicken was dry, the hot dog slices with fries were dry. Everything that we tried was just disgusting. The waitress was told about our meals and told us “sorry you didn’t like it”, “I will let them know”. She comes back 10mins later and tells us that “the food was on the house”, “you don’t have to pay and gave us the credit card back”. We were actually going to pay for food we did not like. The owner comes up and apologizes for the food but comes back and demands that we have to pay for the food. At this point we were not pleased with the customer service and the owner said that the waitress misunderstood and that we needed to pay. We said we were not going to pay since we were already told not to, then we were called “free loaders” and we were asked to leave. The nerve of people to say such things, when it was their waitress that told us “its was on us because you didn’t like the meal”.

The staff was very nice and wonderful I would rate the place a 5 stars any day
