I found out today that this bar is closed for good. They don't have and never got worker's compensation insurance. The agency that oversees insurance ordered them to close.
The owner didn't tell the employees. They thought the bar would reopen. They all need jobs.

I love this spot! It’s not grimy, it’s a bar catered to bringing your pups. There is plenty of shaded areas if you desire and the bar staff is always so nice. It’s always been clean and well kept when I’ve gone. I hope they stay open, I see it says temporarily closed.

I met up with some friends at Lebowski's Pup Pub who wanted to check out an adoption fair.
The pub has two sides.
One side is a dog park where dogs can play without a leash.
The other side is a bar. It has tables and couches for bar patrons. There were games, a DJ and a food truck. They had an inflatable axe throwing setup. That was cool!
The bar isn't really in good condition. It's grimy and doesn't look clean or well kept.
The bar side is set up on asphalt. It was hot and probably half of the tables didn't have shade. That isn't good when the temperatures are high.
Dogs were sitting on the furniture on the bar side. The couches and chairs stink. They have dog fur on them. You will smell like dog if you sit anywhere on the bar side. Don't wear nice clothes or plan to go somewhere else afterwards. I didn't stay long. When I go to a bar I don't want to have to change clothes after leaving.
They have a small parking lot. It was full when I got there, but there is free parking across the street.
This was going to be a 1 star review. I upped it to 2 stars, because they were trying to get dogs adopted. This is based solely on my experience with the bar section. I didn't go into the dog park.

They use off-brand coke in cans for drinks. Expect your drink to come with no garnishes.
I gave them a second visit when I saw them advertise that they have heaters. There are NO HEATERS! It was miserably cold. When I inquired about the heaters I got shrugged shoulders.
The photos on the web are old. There are not crowds of dogs and people having fun. When I was there it was a neighborhood crowd.
It smells worse than any dog park I have gone to. It's obvious that they don't clean the area where the dogs play.
There is some parking out front. Drinks are priced okay. Pours are weak.

Pros: easy parking, drinks were ok, bartender was friendly
Cons: it smelled like urine, there was a pile of dog poop right next to the bar which was gross, part of the park’s rules is that dogs must be neutered. However there was an in-tact dog that kept trying to hump and harass my dog. The staff did not try to do anything about it even when it was obvious we were trying to keep the dog from bothering my dog. Not worth the cost of entry, disappointing.

A wonderful spot for owners and their pups. I stopped in with my husband and our dog while our other dog was receiving care at UF Small Animal Hospital, and it was a relaxing and comfortable environment for us. The employee who was working that day was kind, attentive, helpful, and easy to chat with.
Plenty of seating, parking, and drink options available. The space was clean and really large for both off-leash areas and leashed areas.

This is a nice little hangout even if you don't have a dog. The bartenders are friendly. They don't serve food but they had a food truck in the lot. I will visit again when I am back in town.

This dog bar is a disease infested fight club.Took my dog here once. Never returning. Left within five minutes because the other dogs kept bullying her and she was scared. Negligent owners that refuse to acknowledge their dog’s poor behavior and staff too timid to intervene when patron’s dogs are acting aggressively. Trusting this establishment to keep your pets safe is a mistake.

We were in town from Atlanta for a college tennis match and found this gem! If you want to feel like you are in your best friends backyard with your dog, this is the place for you!!!! Ben and Gino were amazing and went above and beyond to make us feel at home!!! Our 5 month old puppy, Daisy, had the time of her life!!!! Your dog will love it and so will you!!!
