Alright so I was invited by this girl to head from paddy’s next door to this bar. Everything was cool, seemed like a bit of a rock bar and I was cool with that.Apparently this girl changed her mind about having a drink with me, frankly I had had enough to drink and asked if she would buy me one which she said she was going to. This chick decided to tell the owner I was messing with her or something instead (I hope with the way he was trying to get in my face).Any way the “owner” (doesn’t deserve to own a bar and treat people that way) told me to leaver her alone by again, getting in my face and intimidating me. I went to the bar and figured things would cool down a bit. Then I came back over to see if I could figure out what was going on and ask the girl what happened… again as soon as she starts telling me what happened this guy gets in my face. I didn’t even get to drink the drink I ordered because this guy was serious.I am absolutely dumbfounded! All around a bad person owns this bar, is the impression I got. Either that or that girl was straight up being maliciously manipulative for absolutely no reason, but she started to tell me she just didn’t want to buy me a drink so… all he had to do was calm down for half a second.

I just moved here from New Orleans and this is one of a very short list of bars that is worth going to. Good atmosphere, shot and a beer kind of a place. No douchie bro squads or high priced drinks. I just wish bars would open earlier here.

He must’ve learned how to count from the amount of hairs he had on his head, which was 0. So here's the thing, the people are nice, the bar is a dark unappreciated dive that has an incredible hand carved bar back from an old steamer. Beautiful! The people are salt of the earth! And, you can smoke - free as hoping they sold cigars, since I don't smoke cigarettes but enjoy the smell. But! I went to the restroom and they picked up a drink I was only half done with. Pissed me off! No tip mf-ers! Beers are cheap, drinks are light pours, so now you're warned.

Smoky- dingy- rude service- slow service. I left a $20 tip on a $100 bar tab and the bartender who claimed to be the owner was totally rude to me because a $20 tip was "insulting" to him. It was a very generous tip for the slow service. I do not recommend.

Wow. Not in a good way. Waved to a bar tender because we thought he didn't see us (it had been 10 mins) and then proceeded to throw us out. Literally meant no harm just had genuinely thought he might have not seen us as it was busy. Proceed to curse us out and saying to F off. Out of the blue aggressive and uncalled for. Embarrassing for them. Wouldn't recommend.
This place has a very cool vibe. I love the diversity of clientele and comfortable seating arrangements. It's dark too, which is great. Drinks were good and beer was cold. Prices weren't too bad for downtown. Jukebox was not too loud so we were able to carry on a conversation.This bar does allow smoking indoors, one of the few left. While I'm not a regular smoker, I do enjoy an occasional smoke with a glass of bourbon neat. My friends enjoy a cigar with a beer or bourbon too. Ignore the negative comments about smoking. Don't understand why people would leave a negative comment when everyone knows this place allows indoor smoking!! There are a few tables outside street side so you can sit there too and people watch. We had a great time and will return again sometime.

The bar tender kicked me out for talking to a homeless regular about his voting rights. Then I went outside to the Opera House apt bldg and sat in a that was rigged for homeless people to not sit and I fell on the ground. A young man and I tossed that chair into the trash. I am now sitting at Harry's thank Goodness

Been here for decades. Great bartenders. Free popcorn. Outdoor seating. I go there during slow times due to the atmosphere, happy hour prices, and TV. Love to listen to the other customers' conversations. Very eclectic crowd.
