Top notch Mexican in Gainesville. Fast service, constant flow of salsa and chips, salsa is homemade and very good, queso has great flavor, entrees are all seasoned so well and full of flavor. My favorite is the Burrito Grande adding smothered queso and the Chile Colorado. Also love the ambiance.

My family and I were in Gainesville for an appointment, and we decided to get lunch on the way out of town. This place came across my radar, so we gave it a try. I am quite pleased that we did. The place had a nice atmosphere. The staff was very friendly, especially the server who took care of us. They took our drink orders right away, and brought them out fairly quickly. We all ordered different dishes, and we were quite satisfied with what we were served. The good came out hot and fresh, and everyone agreed it was quite delicious. I ordered the chicken topped with chorizo, my sister a quesadilla with shrimp and scallops, and my mom an enchilada dish with a side of guacamole. My mother loved the food, and she tends to not like eating out, preferring home cooking to dining in a restaurant. The chicken I got was quite juicy, and very delicious. My sister enjoyed her quesadilla as well. Mom also had a lot of praise for their guacamole. We definitely shared our delight with our server, and thanked her for being a great server. If you haven't given this a place, it'll be a great option for a quick bite at a decent price serving up delicious food.

To add a bit of background, I've traveled to Mexico a handful of times, have lived across the country in various locations with large mexican communities. I've had a lot of good Mexican food.

This place is amazing by those standards.

The highlight, though, is the *fresh* guacamole. Make sure to order the (more expensive) fresh version. It might very much be a candidate for the best guacamole I've ever had.
