I love Liquid Ginger! The staff is always friendly, and food is great for the price. I love the sushi here and this is always my go-to restaurant in Gainesville for sushi and miso soup.

A very nice place and the food is ideal. I had the seared tuna and it was perfectly prepared. I can't wait to go back and try the sushi. A lot of excellent options on the menu.

At this point I've probably ordered takeout from here 30+ times. Some day I'll dine in, but I've gotten a good sense of the atmosphere just from picking up so frequently. On all fronts, this is an excellent restaurant. From timeliness to service to deliciousness, it's an A+ consistently. I didn't love their sushi the one time I tried it, but everything else I've sampled on the menu (and I've sampled a lot in every menu category) is great, and I should probably give the sushi another try. Very highly recommended (and seems like a top-notch dine-in experience, too).

My Sister and I went to Liquid Ginger. It was recommended to us and we are so happy we went.We live about 2 hrs from Gainsville and love Sushi. This place has excellent sushi. We ordered miso soup & avocado salad, from the sushi tastings: seared tuna☺️. Garlic eggplant: this is a must have at this place it has onions and red& green peppers in a garlic sauce. The saigon spring rolls WERE FANTASTIC they had some chicken in them and fried to perfection. Yes those were just the appetizers and words can not express how delicious this start off was. The sauces that smothered these items were incrdible, the garlic sauce on the eggplant and the ponzu sauce with the seared tuna, just fantastic. The main Entree: we ordered 3 rolls total of sushi, I will list them in order by least to most favorite.3. GATOR Roll: this roll is a signature roll and it is tempura so it is cooked, it has a lot of different meats in it. FOR more description of these items take a look at the menu pictures I posted. This is what we call a heavy roll, definitely great for dipping in a soup. On its own, with no sauce added it is tasty although you can not taste all meat inside and maybe wasnt the best choice pairing with the other items we experienced. Still a good option for people who enjoy cooked rolls.2. The Golden Apple Roll: this roll is a signature roll and it is what we call Light weight. It has very few ingredients so when you start your course off heavy, you still have space for something sweet like this roll. Now the roll is sweet the mango sauce adds to the sweetness, to balance the flavor we chose to dip it in soy and the spicy mayo, adding a fine balance of sweet and savory.1. DANCING SHRIMP ROLL: Our favorite roll of the night, also a signature roll. When we can eat our sushi without dipping sauce we know its going to be a flavorful event for our taste buds. So this roll has tobiko eggs which are usually lightly salted and gives any roll a creative flavor. It also had avocado in place of the cucumber, tuna, eel and shrimp. Just try it, its worth it.This place is quietly placed in a busy part of town. Close to many other cool businesses. our waitress Lisa was amused by how happy we were to eat! We have quite the appetite. UNtil the next Eating! ENJOY the pictures!! Next time you're in Gainsville give this place a chance.Parking: There is a parking lot close to the restaurant but there were QR codes to pay for parking. We did not park there, there was another parking lot about 15 secs away. We parked there and walked to the restaurant, the walk again was just 15 secs more than the parking lot behind the business.Wheelchair accessibility: So the business has wheelchair ramps. This restaurant is in almost like a business outlet so theres more than one place to enter but the ramp was on the back side of the building near the parking center.

Food was really great, enjoyed everything we got, but the service was genuinely awful. Our server was Jodie, who didn’t introduce herself and we had to find out her name through the check. She didn’t give us our utensils even after serving soup (my boyfriend had to wander around to FIND some), rushed through our order, and when she gave us our food, which was wrong at one point, she literally RAN away so fast before we could ask to exchange the incorrect order. She seemed overall very inattentive. At that point, we were so done with waiting we had to walk around to find someone to help fix our order. Her “apology” for the mixup was so careless, negligent, and weird. Her voice was barely audible and she spoke weirdly passive aggressive. Very upset with the service, so much so to the point where we aren’t coming back, which is unfortunate because the food was great.

Food is good. Seating is a bit cramped, but there’s a pretty interior. IF JODIE IS YOUR WAITRESS, RUN.

My husband and I have been going to Liquid Ginger for almost 10 years, and it’s our restaurant of choice when in Gainesville.Excellent filet mignon, and crispy lime chicken. Can’t go wrong with spicy chicken appetizer as well as the chicken satay.

4.5 stars ?Still a great place to find meals with a slight twist on flavoring. We love that. The traditional item's up dated.Shared a Treasure roll ,app.Something so simple yet so well created it made you want to keep eating.Dinner = Crispy Lime Chicken / Shrimp Pad Thai .Shrimp pad Thai awsome, and just enough of a flavor twist to keep you wanting more.Crispy lime chicken, perfect.Only two issues.1 not much comes with the Crispy lime chicken, except a bowl of house jasmine rice, No other veggies.?2. The appetizer came out after the main plates. We Will be Back

Very tasty dishes with a huge selection. Our two favorites are two of the starter dishes /appetizers: the spinach dish, and the eggplant dish.
