I absolutely love this restaurant. They have great prices for some of the best sushi in Gainesville! Most of the restaurants around for sushi are quite overpriced (i.e. Hana sushi and dragon fly), so finding out about this place was amazing. The service has always been quite fast as well with kind/friendly waitresses. I would also like to note that their hibachi is also quite good as well. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for great sushi at a good price.

Phenomenal experience! Happy to have this around the corner from my home. I took my mother here for some sushi when she came to visit from Portland Oregon. We absolutely enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. Who doesnāt love a good sushi roll. My mother always swears up and down sheās a vegan. She tells people this within a few minutes of meeting them. Itās basically her claim to fame and she will tell anyone who will listen. But when it comes to fish, she always breaks the rules. Iām quick to point out she would probably be better off if she just accepted the fact that sheās a pescatarian at best. But she never accepts the cold hard truth. I tell her sheās in denial. She tells me Iām a little A-Hole

The food is still good but the customer service lately hasnāt been pleasant. The two new younger waitresses are very unprofessional and have no customer service skills. One of them were sitting with the other cursing and tending to the customerās at a minimum. Patiently waiting for the other waitress to come back home!

I was actually picking up pizza to bring home for dinner and had to get a sushi roll. As I walked thru the door, all of the employees were up front. They were taking a break, and considering I did not see another customer in the building. On another note, service was fast and friendly enough. I legit ordered a roll to go. Food only gets 3 stars because it is good but nothing special. On my way out the door, I asked for some napkins. She said, "She put some in the bag" I thanked her and went on my way. When I needed the napkins....there was 1 single napkin. Just 1.

I think i just came off a 3 excellent sushi restaurant streakā¦ but this place. Itās hard to put my finger on it. The service was alright. Another table (more people) put in their order after mine and they got their food first. I guess thatās how it goes.
I got the yummy roll and volcano roll. The volcano was the better of the two but didnāt hit the same nom noms as many of the volcanos rolls Iāve tried. The yummy roll was off a bit more. Still delicious. Just not what I was expecting or hoping for.
Like I said tho. Lovely atmosphere and good service. Itās worth a try. Hopefully others can prove me wrong.
