Mai Kai feels like the perfect “third space” in Gainesville, and it’s become basically like my second living room. It feels like the perfect halfway point between a bar and a coffee shop. There really isn’t anywhere in Gainesville with the same kind of vibe in my opinion. I came here multiple times a week with my laptop to study for a clinical license exam (which I passed), and I still come back multiple times a week now to just hang out with friends or spend some time...
I’ve had an awesome experience, service was prompt and she walked me thru the differences of the drinks and helped me pick one suited for me, thank you Bibi! I will definitely be coming again.
really enjoyed coming here! the girl i talked to was super sweet, polite, and informative. she took the time to explain the difference between kratom and kava, as well as giving us suggestions and explaining the different flavors. there was also some good live music, and a great atmosphere overall. highly recommend
