My service was excellent. The manager (Christy Oliver) herself brought out my food, she went above and beyond in her customer service. The store was clean, as busy as it was it was not chaos, food was made and served promptly. Although I live out of town I frequent this restaurant frequently and have always had EXCELLENT service.

McAlister's is a classic in Gainesville. We go there almost every visit from smSouth Florida. They have great sandwiches, salads, & potatoes. You order at the counter, get your drinks & find a seat. They find your number & bring your food

Ordered a King Club, and everything went very smoothly. The service was quick and accommodating, and ordering was fast. The sweet tea is some of the best you'll get around the area, with many added flavors you can order. Very large sandwiches with clean tasting ingredients. Will come back again.

Went for the first time to try the place out with my mom. The lady there was so rude and all staff seemed to be annoyed that we were there. She was being rude because I was ready to order and started to ask for the club sandwich when she said wait I have take these gloves off first in a very rude way. Like how hard is it to walk and take gloves off? I worked in a restaurant for 5 years and I would never talk to a customer that way and taking gloves off too exactly 5 seconds and I could do that while walking and talking.

On a sanitation aspect.. I did observe that the same lady after taking my order go back to putting cookies in plastic bags and she again put gloves on. Nothing wrong until right after placing the gloves on she go a notification on her phone and took the phone out of her pocket and checked the notification. Like yucky! So whatever germ was on the phone is now all over those cookies. And people wonder how viruses spread.. that is how!. I won't be going back that's for sure.

Food was okay. The spuds were dry, the chili cheese nachos weren’t nachos it was just chili cheese dip with tortilla chips on the side. Pretty unimpressed :/

Restored my faith in Mcalister's here. Staff are SO friendly, food was ready super quick, and a free cookie with a sweet note sweetened the deal. Bummed this location isn't anywhere near my home :')

They never pick up the phone. Can never place an order on doordash because they aren’t accepting any orders. Ridiculous.

3 words ... Overstuffed awesome sandwiches . N.Y style deli soup and sandwiches , great prices , clean , and friendly service , definitely one of Gainesville's hidden treasures . I must have eaten here 10 times and I've never had a bad meal . Board head meat , always fresh and no long wait times , these guys are on it . We love eating here .
