I ordered a Turkey dinner for 8 with Turkey (good) stuffing (good) with Mashed Potatoes (wasn’t mashed potatoes was red potatoes mashed with skin on) and Mexican Corn (not good choose the string beans). No cranberry sauce included as advertised so had a quick pickup at a grocery store. If it was delivered as advertised I would have rated it higher. Would I do it again? Only if I checked everything when I pick it up. I have eaten at Metro diners and their regular menu items are good but Thanksgiving was a disappointment.

Stopped by for breakfast today. We were told to sit anywhere. It took 10 minutes just to get our coffee orders. I ordered the short stack of pancakes. My husband got eggs. His breakfast was ok. Not great, just ok. My short stack of pancakes took 30 minutes. When the food runner brought them they were cold and hard. It was obvious that they had been sitting in there waiting to be picked up for a while. Apparently our waitress was more interested in sitting in someone’s booth than doing her job. I had to get someone else to take back the pancakes. Food was poor as well as waitress’s attitude. Won’t be returning.

I have been wanting to try this place because I love diners. It did NOT disappoint! I had a super great burger, and my companion had a slab of ribs, and let me tell you, the meat was falling off the bone!

My husband and I came into Metro today after a long 4 hr Dr. Appointment test and was unable to eat until after test. Place was pretty packed when we arrived ,lunch time. Sat right down in a booth, no wait. Server came over pretty quick and was super nice and helpful. I ordered Biscuits and gravy. This is the only restaurant that I like the gravy. My husband and got a ham and cheese Omelet and had asked for it to be pressed When the food came to our table it wasn't quite as my husband liked. Our server Emily who was absolutely great asked us what could she do to make it how he likes. She said explain to me so I can tell the cook exactly how you like it So we told her ok maybe tell them old fashioned instead of pressed. We waited not even 5.mins and the Manger brought the food over and asked us is this the way you like ? It was exactly how my husband wanted it.. The food was excellent..servers was prompt and friendly, very helpful A manager that takes the time to come to bring you your food after something went wrong and asks if this is ok and how you like it? This says to me he cares for the food that goes out, his employees and the customer's Not many managers do that And it says alot about a manager who does
So a big thank you to our server Emily. And the manager DJ You both made going to eat out a nice experience which doesn't happen anymore

Stopped by Metro Diner today and the chicken and waffles were amazing—so flavorful and cooked perfectly! Ryan took great care of us, very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend both the dish and the service!
