Mildred's is the best restaurant in Gainesville. Chef Cameron is always looking for creative ways to use local and fresh ingredients to put together excellent dishes. Last night we enjoyed octopus carpaccio which is new to the menu and the always amazing scallops with a fresh new set up. Service is always on point and they make you feel special even on a random Friday evening. Bert Gill continues to exceed expectations both here and at Blue Gill!
Always a fantastic time here. Service and atmosphere are excellent. The menu offers new and inventive dishes that always deliver. Wine list and cocktails are great. Highly recommend. One of my favorite places to dine.
We enjoyed the food, we arrived on time 5:15 they were changing shift (our bad) the were other wait staff other than ours who were attentive, appeared to understand how to provide customer service, and made prolonged eye contact. We would order al'carte next time, if we try again.
