Best Indian food in town!!! I love their mango lassi and pani puri. Not only that the staff is so sweet and accommodating. If you want authentic food, i’d recommend coming here anyday anytime.

One of the best indian restaurants in the country. The food is so good especially the Malai Kofta and Vada Pav. I have never had better malai kofta ANYWHERE else. The staff is very kind and hard working. This place is AMAZING

Family owned and operated Indian joint. They can also make customized menu on request. They can also make no onion no garlic recipes. If you are around Gainesville Fl, do visit this place.

The Mint was delightful... The three restaurant people that were there today were each so nice. I particularly go for Indian food on Sundays, and they even had a little conversation with me. I'm so glad that this restaurant is here in Gainesville!!! The prices at the Mint are very reasonable, whereas most prices everywhere have shot up sky high. I ordered the dosa masala, and the sambar soup and the coconut chutney were delicious. The sambar even had a hint of cinnamon, just a hint, and it could not have been better. I ordered the garlic naan and the bread is not a large size portion but it is plenty when you are paying $2 and change. I think that the restaurant works largely by the several delivery services. There are 3 big long tables there for families and single tables also. The dining area is not very big at all but it is sufficient for good food and good people serving you. Amy.

Pani puri was all fake - no chick peas as stated on the menu, pudina pani was sweetened.
Chana masala came submerged in a a sweet tomato and cream sauce. Chana masala is NOT the same as chicken tikka masala. Who are you people?
Chana masala was supposed to come with rice. We called to confirm. They vehemently said yes it comes with rice. They literally sent four tablespoons of rice. What scam is this?

I was happy to try this place! It’s very good food. Lots of vegan options and no meat on the menu (yay!). The workers were super sweet. Tried the naan, samosas, & soya masala. All of it was super super good. Plus happy to support a local business😄only bad thing is that it’s fairly pricey. But it’s a neat treat once in awhile ! Updated from previous review on 2025-07-18
