We were excited to try this place, but won’t be back. We ordered our sushi an hour ahead with a designated pick up time so the food would be fresh. when I arrived the rolls (uncooked sushi) were sitting out at the front, unattended. We brought it home, and thought it looked SO yummy but all the rolls were room temperature. I tried a couple pieces but they tasted fishy, and not fresh. We had to throw out almost $60 of food. We feel like we wasted our money but at least we didn’t get food poisoning by eating it.
Online price didn’t reflect in-person price, and the cashier said they weren’t doing lunch specials. This would have been good information to give on the phone, to a person asking about a lunch special. Two stars because the food was okay, although it felt like a very poor value compared to other sushi restaurants in Gainesville. I would put the quality the same as sushi 2 go, except more expensive. I wouldn’t recommend this spot.
The sushi is AMAZING!!I tried their Godzilla & Razorback deep fried roll & they were both superb! I left stuffed and yet still wanted more. It’s two days later and I am still thinking about the sushi. I made sure to thank the chef because he DID that!
This is our favorite sushi place in town. The dragon roll bento box is a really good value. The staff are always wonderful and nice. We've also had some of the Korean dishes on the menu and they are also delicious if you're not into sushi!
Been going here for YEARS! Love it! Great food, Great service, Great Prices!!!
We love coming here and we always get a bento-box of some sort. Service has always been super friendly and attentive. Miso soup is always hot and tasty. Definitely recommend!
Very nice eating experience friendly greeting at the door and through the hold meal. Great menu with some of their own chief signature meals.
Super friendly and great sushi! We got the green tea, miso soup and the dragon combo with a mango roll, I think the mango role is better then the one from dragonfly. Great time.
Not good. what I ordered was not at all what we were expecting. My pork was extremely dry, it’s was paper thin with tons of breading. So I ate only the veggie roll and dumplings and left the pork and rice. When he came to take our plates I asked for a menu to get something else because I was unhappy with my meal. Got fried rice and it wasn’t even good. At the very end I was charged for both and I said I would pay for what I ate but I wasn’t paying for the dry pork and sushi rice. He told me no and I asked for a manger and the manger who was sitting at the sushi bar the entire time couldn’t even come to talk to his customers. Will never be back
Great Miso soup! Super quiet and clean

Great food and service. Will go again.
Wonderful selection of fresh and excellently prepared sushi. The owner, JJ, is delightful and always willing to customize an order.
It was a very nice for a romantic dinner. I enjoyed their sushis.
