This is as much a sports bar as a pub, with TV screens everywhere, but it has some nice pub touches. The fish and chips was delicious, as were the Guinness and the Smithwick’s and the service was fine. I could do with a few less screens but it’s also a sports bar and this is Gainesville so yeah, lots of sports.

Mother’s is a staple bar in Gainesville. The food is homemade and always affordable. The staff are accommodating, friendly, and personable. It is always a fun and safe atmosphere. There is always entertainment of some sort. Management tolerates zero shenanigans and yet will still go out of their way to make you happy.

If you are a person of color or someone with morals , I wouldn’t dare patronize this business !! Apparently, the manager is comfortable using racist slurs targeted at paying customers. Natalie is a Horrible excuse for a human being! See screenshot in comments

Great dive bar recommended by a patron of another dive bar. We were seeking love music. We have a few beers, cocktails and a fun time.

The food is decent, and some dishes are better than others. I would recommend their wings. They have a great variety of sauces with their wings. The happy hour section is decently priced. Staff may take a while as they get busy, but it seems more like a seat your self establishment til we see you, so be patient. Some nights they have live music which is very nice. Staff is very friendly and attentive. I would come back.

I’ve been to Mothers Pub Bar and Grill North the past two nights and I’ve got to say it’s a great spot. The environment is laid back and fun with live music and pool tables that keep the vibe going. Bre the bartender is amazing, super friendly, attentive, and really makes you feel welcome. Her whole staff is just as solid. If you’re in the area and looking for a good time, I strongly recommend stopping by this location. You won’t be disappointed.
