The owners are so sweet and helpful and the food was amazing!! They cook everything fresh! The restaurant is also so clean and easy to order with a tablet. The owner even gave me a free dessert, you can tell they really care about their customers. Highly recommend

Ordered buttered chicken. These are literally taco elements. Like taco bell taco. It was $15. I'm pissed bro. Workers were cool though especially for a late night order. I knew it was impossible they'd have the genuine thing, ready late at night, and within 25 mins. They had it done after around 5 mins...it was worth a shot

I would honestly rate this place much lower because I was not satisfied with any aspect of our meal but I think we could’ve ordered something else and had a different experience. We chose the 5 whole chicken wings Lennon pepper and fries. Fries were cold chicken was bland and pinkish inside.

Not only is the location ideal and the food is incredible, but also, the owner and the employees make it their absolute mission to provide customers with the best service, quality ingredients, unbeatable prices, and a more than enjoyable experience for everyone that walks through the door. Their commitment to serving 100% authentic Halal food, sharing their amazing culture through their food, and putting customers first is always their goal. The environment is always very positive and the service is always great. The food is absolutely delicious and the man behind the counter was very patient and kind. The food came out quickly. I would definitely recommend this
I was the only person in the shop the entire time, was greeted when I walked in so they obviously saw me and saw me order. Ordered 5 piece chicken and mozzarella sticks, my receipt says 3:08. Sat down facing the counter and waited. And waited. And waited. At 3:28 they asked if I was waiting for an order. I said yes, 20 minutes, and they sheepishly handed me a bagged order waiting behind the counter where I couldn't have seen it, and said they thought it was a pick up. I was visibly sitting and waiting facing them, the only person to enter the entire time, so I don't know why they thought that?Good food, terrible service. Likely why the place was empty.Editing to reply to the owner's comment: the two staff saw me order at the order screen and print my receipt. They saw me sit down and saw me waiting twenty minutes. No one else was in the entire time. I'm not sure how they could have assumed I was waiting for anybody. Your brush off regarding the terrible service shows the lack of care for your customers.

I recently visited the restaurant, "Bite of Power," located on University Avenue in Gainesville. Unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. The ambiance of the place was off-putting and not at all inviting. It lacked cleanliness and orderliness, which are fundamental to any dining establishment. The staff members were not welcoming or friendly. In fact, they were quite the opposite. They were disrespectful and exhibited a clear lack of professionalism, which greatly tainted the overall dining experience. What was even more shocking was the behavior of the owner. He was freely using racial slurs, specifically the N-word, despite not being Black himself. This is completely unacceptable and offensive. Furthermore, he was making derogatory comments about the LGBT+ community. Such behavior is not only disrespectful and hurtful, but it also goes against the principles of equality and acceptance that our society strives to uphold. My experience was further soured by the fact that the restaurant seemed to harbor a racist atmosphere, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. It was clear that respect and acceptance for all individuals, regardless of their race, gender or sexual orientation, were not values held by this establishment. The food service was slow and inefficient. It took a long time for the food to arrive, and when it finally did, it wasn't even what I had ordered. This was the final straw in what was already a highly disappointing experience. I would not recommend "Bite of Power" to anyone. This restaurant needs to make serious changes to its staff, management, and overall approach to customer service and respect for diversity.

Food is usually pretty good. This place used to be THE spot but since Naq’s was bought by Bite of Power, it’s gone downhill. They got rid of their combo (lamb and chicken) platter and make you pay extra for sauces. Still a solid spot if you’re looking for something past 12am.
