We recently partnered with Zen Catering for a corporate event on January 8, 2025, with 100 attendees, and we couldn’t be more impressed with their service and quality. Despite the planning being very last-minute, the Zen Catering team went above and beyond to make the event an absolute success.

Our company holiday party was catered by Zen and it wasn’t at all impressive, lots of leftovers and nothing to brag about. I get that finger food is supposed to be convenient but everything surely came prepackaged and frozen from.

I had a great experience with this company. I e-mailed them looking for someone to do last minute catering. Within five minutes the owner responded. The communication was great, the delivery was right on time, and the food was good. The owner was flexible even given my short timeline. With the budget we gave, he created a great menu himself but was open to any suggestions that I had. The desserts were beautiful and of more variety than I'd expected! I'd recommend this company.

Communicaiton pre-event was slow. I had to answer the same questions several times.Set up was efficient. A few little things were off like some tablecloths were pressed and some were creased (wrinkled). Some plates had stickers on the bottom. These are small things but for a wedding (and the cost) it just didn't seem pristine.I requested real glasses which were provided except for the water station had plastic glasses.Staff was polite.Food was not very good. Mashed potatoes were like soup. Chicken was dry. Appetizers were fair. Nothing was great. Definitely not worth the cost for catering.

WORST VENDOR EXPERIENCE EVER. UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNCARING.This is the most unprofessional business when it comes to communication. I can't speak about the food, unfortunately, because they would rather turn down business since they can't be bothered to respond to emails.I emailed them multiple times and filled out the inquiry questionnaire on their website and didn't hear back for months. When I finally commented on their instagram, they finally messaged me back and we were able to come up with a sample menu. They weren't very apologetic and just brushed off my concerns because they're "so busy," and did not believe me when I told them how many times I've emailed them without a reply. They kept asking for proof, and even when I supplied it they said "we're in the business to make a profit, why would we ignore someone?" That's a great point - but they continued to ignored me and lost $7,000.But since their prices were decent and they were emailing me back I thought things were going to get better, but I was sadly mistaken.They said they were too busy to do a tasting for me and my fiancé, but would put together a small to-go order of tuscan chicken so that we could try it. I emailed multiple times about coordinating when we could pick it up and it continued to be ignored. Every other day there was a new person responding to my emails or IG messages. It was really confusing to not be working with just one person and very unprofessional. The quote they gave me was extremely vague and when I asked about additional costs I was never responded to.It has been a month now since I have emailed them, trying to solidify the menu with servers and bartenders, but they have not emailed me back. This is EXTREMELY disappointing and was a major waste of my time during wedding planning. I always said I would sooner die than serve BBQ at my wedding - but I'm choosing to book with 4Rivers over Zen because of how easy it was to work with them. They were friendly, quick, and detailed - exact opposite of Zen.

As a wedding planner, I am often asked for vendor recommendations. After listening to what my client's vision was for style of food, taste and presentation, I recommended Zen Creative Catering. They did not disappoint! The food was the talk of the reception! The service was amazing and they left the kitchen clean. Not something all caterers will do! I am happy to have Zen Creative Catering on my preferred vendor list and recommend them to my clients.

Taste Elegant Catering is who we hired for my wedding for about 100 guests. They created the most amazing meal for us, and we able to make all of our guests happy with the options. We had a served buffet for the dinner, and the servers and chef were very professional and easy to work with. Mariannie helped us from day one with the catering, and was very easy to communicate with as we created our menu. She was even able to help create our dream Macaron Tower for our dessert table! Overall, I highly recommend Taste Elegant Catering if you are wanting delicious and custom created food at your special event.

Without a doubt, most of the food from Taste was good. The only complaint from the people at our wedding was that the rolls were rock hard. We trusted that when we met with Taste to plan out the meal, our verbal requests would be updated on our invoice, however, there were a few surprises with our wedding food and we realized that our requests were ignored. When we brought this up to them afterwards, Taste did not seem to care since all the food was eaten. Again, the food was good, but not what we ordered. Double check everything.

My husband and I are so happy that we hired Taste Elegant Catering for our wedding. The entire staff was phenomenal and a pleasure to work with. They were professional, accommodating and prompt to respond to any questions we had. The food was beautifully displayed and most importantly, the food was delicious. Their cheese and charcuterie board is a true art display! Our guests raved about their meals and only had great things to say about their food. We highly recommend them for any catering services!

Taste was recommended to us by our wedding planner as we are not from the area and didn’t know where to start for catering and I can see why they were. They were very prompt in their responses to our requests or questions, even with a change of contact person midway through. They also had great recommendations for the day like appetizer options, etc. that ended up being a huge hit during cocktail hour and was beautifully presented! They were quick to refill and were not shy with their portion sizes for the guests as they went through the buffet line. They even prepared and stored all leftovers (with waiver authorization) for us to easily load up to take home. The staff was so friendly and had constant smiles on their faces while serving our guests and offered genuine congratulations to us as they passed by. With a wide range of menu options, Taste is able to meet any need you may have for your event, that will only leave guests wanting seconds, we highly recommend!

Hung and the team at Taste Elegant Catering did a beyond amazing job catering the Rosé Gala in 2019 which I chaired. The food was amazing. Everyone raved about it. The service was fantastic and the kept the bar running smoothly

We hosted a wedding celebration for our elopement. We decided to go light bites instead of a heavy meal since we often feel that a dinner meal at a reception is often underwhelming. As you can assume, it took my groom and I all night to finally make it to the food table. By that time, everyone had told us how incredible the food was.... and they weren't wrong. Even the presentation was still intact by the time we made it over there. Don't think twice about booking Taste for your event- JUST DO IT.

They catered our wedding last weekend and it was wonderful! I was very nervous when I called because it was only 2 weeks before the wedding, but they were able to help us ! We had a casual, buffet-style reception meal for about 50-60 guests. The food was fantastic. All of our guests loved the sushi boat !! And the dessert shooters were delicious. My husband and I were very pleased.
