Came in looking for a place to relax after getting completely drenched by the rain. I walked up to grab some napkins and saw a fridge with snacks, but it was covered in plastic. I figured it was part of the setup because they were still open for another 20 minutes. When I tried to grab something, a bin of chips fell over.

Immediately this blonde girl with a nasty attitude starts yelling that they are closing, even though the doors were still open and customers were still inside. No basic courtesy. No attempt to help. Just instant attitude. She made a point to announce to everyone that I messed up, then stood there doing nothing for a whole minute like it was the end of the world. She kept repeating that they closed in 15 minutes and whining about chips on the floor like I did it on purpose.

I apologized anyway and walked out. Never going back. If they are going to treat people like that, I would rather give my money to Starbucks where they actually know how to talk to customers.

Opus Coffee is one of the cafes I would trust to make an iced matcha latte. Usually consistent throughout the different locations and would come back!

Recently was at UF Innovation for my wife's medical procedure and stopped in for a coffee afterwards... the best coffee I have had in years! Cafe latte was so smooth that you don't even need sugar...for us, that says something about the taste and quality of the coffee!

Love Opus Coffee and pastries. Their house blend coffee is fantastic and their seasonal offerings are fun and delicious too. Service is prompt and friendly. Highly recommend Opus!

Nice place, nice vibe, nice staff.
Cons: the coffee. Everything is served at the point of boiling which completely burns the beans beyond repair. Even a single shot Cortado (unusual in specialty places but still) is burned beyond repair, the top layer of frothed milk is just bitter foam. The batch (filter coffee) is beyond repair, no notes and even if we were to consider it an American staple, at this price point I was truly hoping in an improvement and not to burn both my hand and my tongue. Pity, the space is nice and the city needs good coffee but this ain’t it.
