We went here for our anniversary dinner. Service was excellent and the food was on point. We had a corner seat with a view of the street outside. We both had haddock- the nightly special. Dessert and coffee was delicious as well.

For the same price of a hectic burger place you can sit down here at a table with a white table cloth in a calm atmosphere, right in downtown. I don’t know why this place isn’t packed. The food is good, the location is perfect, the service was excellent. We had such a nice lunch. I had a yummy salad with chicken and my husband had the black bean burger which honestly was the best black bean burger I have ever tasted. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Very pleasant atmosphere with unique music from the 20’s/30’s which fits this venue perfectly.
We ordered from the lunch menu with prices very reasonable. Sandwiches were excellent, pasta fagiol soup hot and flavorful.

I went to this restaurant for the first time a week ago. It is a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The service was fantastic. The food was outstanding. I highly recommend the Paramount Grill.

After walking past Paramount Grill nearly every week for a year, looking at the menu but not really inspired by the menu or lack of ambience, my fiancé and I decided to give it a shot. This place needs Gordon Ramsey to turn the restaurant around. The restaurant was nearly empty on a Friday night, which should’ve been our warning. The food was all over the place with no clear style and way too many flavors competing for attention on each dish. The gazpacho tasted more like onion than tomato. The mussels were unrecognizable, covered in rosemary. And the duck was hidden behind Gorgonzola. Less focus on dressing things up rather than letting good ingredients be the stars of the show would’ve been better here. As much as we wanted to like it, we won’t be back until there’s a new menu and, hopefully, some renovations to the space.

Our group has been in Gainesville for about a month now and we’ve had dinner for take out several times and I can confidently say that each time has been perfect. They carefully packaged each order and also put the names of the individuals of our group on each entree and the staff was always helpful when I picked up these large orders. The Beet Salad as well as the Duck Breast are definitely two items to get. Thank you Paramount Grill!

Not really sure about this place. Was our first time trying it after seeing reviews and hearing word of mouth. The dinner menu is quite small. I ordered a steak that was mostly fat and gristle. Our fondue appetizer tasted…..odd. White unseasoned chicken chunks and cheese that tasted off. We found most of the dinner offerings to be quite random in their ingredients and preparation and found that most of them don’t really compliment each other very well, it was kinda all over the place. All said and done it Cost over $100 for two entrees and an app while drinking water and no dessert. Don’t think we’ll be back.

Poor steak (only one on the menu). More than half of it was fat and grizzle. Mentioned to the waitress and experienced a sigh.Disappointed with the lack of response and customer service.
