An authentic Pho in Gainesville 🐊
I visited Gainesville to attend classes at UF and I was surprised to find this place in the area. Pleasantly surprised.
I actually found it by accident because we went to the business right next to it for some Mochi Mochi and then I saw it and there is always a second stomach for Pho.
I visited this place in a Saturday afternoon and it was not crowded at all. The hostess showed us the menu for us to explore dining options and then took us to our table.
I ordered of course, Pho, with tripe and brisket. It arrived to the table in about 10 minutes. Good portion size for soup, meats and noodles. The broth was delicious. Thin consistency with meaty flavors. Noodles well cooked and same with the meats.
I think this is a 5 stars basically because of the food. Atmosphere and service, not bad, but not great.

What happened to your lovely savory broth? I've gotten pho 3x in the past month and each time it was SO sweet. I come here because unlike every other pho place in town, your broth isn't sweet! Please tell me this isn't forever, my heart will break.

I absolutely love their Beef pho with tribe, fresh extra’s like cilantro, bean sprouts, lime and basil to add to it. Their Summer Roll for appetizers was fresh and delicious as well

Found this place when another pho place was closed and I was craving pho so bad and I can’t believe this place is only 3.9 stars!! I’ve come here 3 days in a row now and it’s delicious. Service is fast and the flavors are great. Also tried the pan fried dumpling and they were really delicious as well. Definitely worth a try! Very clean and big dining area, absolutely a new favorite of mine. :)

A small and lovely eatery that has a tremendous amount of menu items. The only complaint to offer is their Bahn Mih is deeply lacking in flavor and quality, hardly any filling. A shame as their other menu items are phenomenal.
Vegetarian options: There is a decent selection of vegetarian dishes which have a variety of flavor profiles available. The pho is especially good, being a light broth filled with a veritable garden of vegetables.

This place has some of the best Pho I've ever had. The flavor is just absolutely PERFECT. Any of the pho dishes are great, whether it's the meatballs, or all kinds of beef cuts. Price has gone up a lot due to inflation (I think it's like $14-$16 a bowl), but I'd still go for it because it's just so darn good.
The other dishes that they have, rice dishes, and even the viet sandwiches, they are ok. Average to above-average I'd say, depending on your personal taste and experiences of other Asian cuisine.
The service is usually pretty friendly, very down to earth. Only downside is if they are ever very busy, service can take slightly longer because I've ever only seen them staff 2 waiters/waitresses max on any night. Though the wait time is never too unreasonable. The Pho is always worth the wait, in my opinion.
Atmosphere is pretty laid back, has the hole-in-the-wall type feel of those obscure-but-delicious Asian restaurants. If you're ok with an informal dining experience, and you love Pho or Vietnamese food, you have to try it out at least once!
