Although the restaurant has good reviews, my experience was underwhelming. We ordered the spring rolls, combination beef pho, rice vermicelli with grilled pork, and beef fried rice for dinner. The food took quite a while to arrive. The fried rice was probably the most enjoyable dish, as it was simple and well prepared. The spring rolls were mostly vegetables and came with a dipping sauce that was quite salty. The vermicelli included pork that was very thin and soft, and the “grilled” aspect was missing entirely. The beef pho was acceptable, but it reminded me more of instant noodles than a restaurant-quality dish. Overall, it wasn’t bad enough to complain, but not good enough that I’d come back.

Although no one beats my mom’s phở, Phở Ha Noi really hits the spot when I’m homesick! Service and quality is consistently amazing! Compliments to the chefs!

Please train and introduce staff to understand Vietnamese food before they send order to the kitchen. I asked for bun bo hue and the guy asked me which noodle I want with it even I’m asian. Got wrong type of noodle and lost my appetite still being nice to tip but not coming back because of this reason. NICE TRY TO ADJUST MY RECEIPT. Don’t even think of it.

Food is great for the price, staff is very friendly. Unfortunately the food takes at least 35 minutes everytime I’ve been when they are not even busy whatsoever, so definitely order ahead.

There is a HUGE staffing issue. One server in the whole Resturant? Why? I love the food here but the fact that I waited 30 min and multiple tables were helped before me that were there well after me is not ok. And to not even apologize or even while we were sitting there to be greeted is crazy to me. Fix the staffing issue and maybe you’d have a better turn around.

The pho is flavorful and the waiter is nice, but the business is unethical by practicing illegal overcharging.

I noticed my receipt did not match the menu's price so I asked the front. I was told the menu is pre-taxed (this is normal), and then EACH ITEM is taxed on the final bill (not normal/unknown charge), then there is the mandatory sales tax at the end. I asked if there was a notice, but there is no display and transparency that notifies the customer of this and you wouldn't know until you notice and ask.

*Be warned that you will pay more than what is advertised on the menu, not less*

I am aware that prices may inflate due to the economy, but transparency is important if the whole menu does not display the right price. In this case, I was not told this was because of inflation. I also did not pressure for a change to my bill to avoid stressing the new worker and because the manager was not available to do so anyway.

My favorite spot in Gainesville for pho. So many spots in Gainesville are pan-Asian and it’s nice to see a place that does specifically Vietnamese food and does it so well. Their spring rolls and summer rolls are also amazing and their cold rice noodles are also one of my favs.

Great and authentic Pho. Everything is fresh and service is as you would expect from a real Vietnamese restaurant. Highly recommended.

An authentic Pho in Gainesville 🐊

I visited Gainesville to attend classes at UF and I was surprised to find this place in the area. Pleasantly surprised.

I actually found it by accident because we went to the business right next to it for some Mochi Mochi and then I saw it and there is always a second stomach for Pho.

I visited this place in a Saturday afternoon and it was not crowded at all. The hostess showed us the menu for us to explore dining options and then took us to our table.

I ordered of course, Pho, with tripe and brisket. It arrived to the table in about 10 minutes. Good portion size for soup, meats and noodles. The broth was delicious. Thin consistency with meaty flavors. Noodles well cooked and same with the meats.

I think this is a 5 stars basically because of the food. Atmosphere and service, not bad, but not great.
