Overall wonderful dining experience. Service was great, food arrived in timely manner, well lit dining room and not noisy

Service was wonderful as our server was very knowledgeable and attentive. The food is a little on the higher end, but worth it and tasted amazing! Due to the smaller space, noise level was a little high and making conversation was a little difficult without leaning in. We would 100% still recommend visiting again and again for those special celebrations especially!

Service was outstanding, the food was delicious. The Redfish was excellent and so was the sea bass. Those bourbon mushrooms were the best I've ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant

We all really enjoyed our food, we will definitely come back next time we're in Gainsville. Great food, great service, nice atmosphere!

We were disappointed the 1st time we tried P&P a couple years ago but decided to give it another chance since we could not get a reservation for the time we wanted at Embers. We will not be returning. Where to start? 1. Very loud 80s dance music playing all night. Destroyed the ambiance. And I LOVE 80s dance music - but there is a time and place and a very expensive steak restaurant is not it. 2. At least 4 different servers/helpers including one who introduced himself and said he would only be handling the water??? and none of them could manage to clear our appetizer or bread plates while we were onto the next course. 3. Dessert menu was bizarre - 2 lemon cakes - very similar, and 2 coconut cakes nearly identical. Ordered one that was over chilled and dry and so basic it was like a kid's bake sale cake. 4. Bar out of a very standard after dinner liquor. How does this happen? You see the bottle nearing empty - you re-order. 5. We asked for a take home box and the server offered to box it up for us. We agreed only to find only half of our leftovers were in the box. Not at these prices! Never again.

The food was delicious, the service was outstanding. Our waitress Alexis was extremely knowledgeable and attentive. The restaurant was comfortable but also mid fancy. It was worth every dollar!

We celebrated our Birthdays this year at prime in Pearl. And both of our meals were exquisite. Our server Chloe was amazing and we had an incredible evening.

Always a great experience at Prime & Pearl. Nice to have an upscale option in Gainesville - others do not live up to Prime & Pearl standards for quality meat and service.

This place sucks pretty bad. It started off with a bang by the hostess enforcing an unposted dress code….not a huge deal to take a hat off but other patrons had on shorts and hats. Seems like a double standard. The complimentary bread sucks pretty bad. Of the 3 steaks we got only one wasn’t rancid and mushy. The one that was edible was flavorless. In my opinion you shouldn’t have to ask for salt on a $50+ steaks. Au gratin potatoes were decent at best. After sending filets back they ended up serving us NY Strips which isn’t what was ordered. Of the 3 people who had steaks two of us got sick. All in all I don’t see how this place has any good reviews from my experience. Will not be returning.

We were excited to try this place, but extremely extremely underwhelmed. They advertise themselves as a top level steakhouse and let me tell you they are nowhere near hitting the mark on that. 

Everything was just first class. Wonderful server. Delicious food. Nobody rushed us. Everything is a little expensive, but that's to be expected these days for quality food and service. I don't mind spending it. 

Amazing experience for my father's birthday! Loved the ambiance AND food!! I will definitely be back.

Our first experience. We had a few minute wait for a table and they bought our first round. Our amazing server/bartender extraordinaire Kelly made awesome suggestions on food, drinks, and oysters! Great atmosphere! Great drinks! Great food! And we loved Kelly! She even gave us recommendations on places to hike in the morning! Highly recommend!
