Filet mignon was not bad, tender enough to be medium rare as I requested. But the sushi dish was suboptimal. Tuna was not fresh enough, and cream cheese was placed on the dish which was not marked on the menu. It’s kinda of a concern for people with allergies.

Great experience all around. We ordered the Volcano Roll and the Tourbus Roll and they were fantastic. The atmosphere was awesome and I loved that the music was not so loud that you could still carry a conversation. Our server Jose was also great and super attentive.

I’ve been to 6 sushi restaurants now in Gainesville and this one is probably the best sushi place to take your friends to in the area. This is not a classic sushi experience, but instead a unique take and style that really does feel rock and roll. Note if you’re not a deep fried with a bit of a kick person you’ll have issues with this menu, but if you’re looking for a cool place to chill and eat wings but actually sushi you’ve found the place.
