Love, love, love the consistency of Rush Bowls. This place is located in the heart of UF campus/Downtown Gainesville. Parking can be tricky here, as there are other businesses and the AC Hotel in the vicinity. My mom and I decided to stop in for a to go breakfast treat that was healthy and filling. The staff is always so nice and knowledgeable about the menu and products they offer. I went for the Beach Bowl, which is a blend of acai, mango, banana, and guava juice. The toppings are granola, honey, and your choice of one topper. I went with blueberries. While we waited, I noticed that they sell energy drinks, protein bar, and other goodies. They also sell protein/energy bites that they make in house which are my mom's fav. The bowl surprisingly did not melt on our ride home. Their acai is thick and so tasty because of the addition of the guava juice. It's not super sweet at all. The toppings were perfectly portioned and fresh. I love coming here whenever I'm craving acai. Rush Bowls has soooo many options it makes it hard sometimes to pick what I really want to try. However, I will be back soon to try out their smoothie options!

I totally enjoyed my visit. I brought a group of six and we all loved our bowls or smoothies. Rush Bowls is generous with the fruit they mix in and their combinations are very tasty. Plus, it is so nice to be able to add protein or other supplements if you want that little extra. The friendliness and upbeat personalities of the staff, mostly college students, was as good as the food. Looking forward to my next visit!

I was looking for an Açaí bowl and if that’s what you’re looking for don’t go here, they only have smoothie bowls and it is nothing like a real açaí bowl. But if you’re looking for a smoothie then I do recommend as they were still yummy just not what I was expecting
