Loved the prices of the drinkz. Other than that, I came here while exploring the area on an overnight w/ my CA n FO. The bar was quiet other than us 3, there were 2 male customers and the 2 guyz behind the bar. At one point, I and one other female customer were the only femalez. There's an updated jukebox that worx through an app or right there n person. Keep in mind that one song is worth 2 credits/ aka $1. If you open a tab, you must put a card on file. If you're like...
Okay this is place is a Gainesville staple. Salty salty salty what can I say. The food is surprisingly good. The drinks are surprisingly cheap if you ever go to Gainesville you need to go to Salty Dog.
Between the staff (bartenders, waitresses, and door guys), the food (wings, tenders, corn nuggets), and the deals (2.40 happy hour doubles, dog lager pitchers), you cannot go wrong with salty dog saloon. The staff is great, food is great, and prices are even better. The pool table and AMI jukebox are just the icing on the cake! Best bar in Gainesville.
