Had the opportunity to visit this place today for the first time and it was great. The staff was amazing, the pizza was great and there was plenty memorabilia to look at. Will definitely hit this spot again soon.
Delicious deep dish Detroit style pizza. They have a new special called The Taj. You’ve got to try it what an amazing fusion of Indian flavors on a pizza.

Me and a buddy from work went for lunch and man this place was cool! You walk in it’s got that old school vibe, you’ll see in my pictures! Especially for me being middle-aged I love looking around at all the stuff. Now onto the food! Now I love me some pizza! I’m from New York, but I love to try everything because a lot of these places make all different kinds of pizza and I just love it! My Buddy had a curry chicken pizza and he loved it. Never heard of it before lol. I had bacon and ham and it was really good! I took a bunch of pictures of the pizza and the restaurant so check it out and definitely go try this place because I’ll definitely be back!

Yummy breakfast pizza. Waffles are out of this world incredible. I don't even want to know how much butter they probably have but they are delectable. Option to get extra butter, syrup or chocolate chips on the side.

Some friends and I wanted Sachels but it was a Monday so we decided to try their sister store (I think) Square house. Unfortunately the staff was very unwelcoming, so much so I asked them to make sure they weren’t just about to close when I ordered my pizza because I didn’t want to be that person but thankfully they had a few more hours until they closed. Compared to their sister store they are lacking a lot in that area. The pizza was good. Ranch was okay. But I think $20 (one pizza plus one singular topping) for a personal pizza is kinda pricey. But it’s downtown so I get it I guess. The vide of the shop is cute. No indoor seating. Being a Monday night there was plenty of parking. (The girl in the back who made the pizzas was the only pleasant one and acknowledged us on our way out. Long hair in two braids and a hairband. Super sweet)

1st time going, had heard good things and they are all true. We got a Seoul Food and a Mariah Curry. Both were excellent. Cooked perfectly with lots of flavor. Glad to know there are choices for a deep dish pizza in town

On the website and the menu, it states that waffles are available all day. When my boyfriend and I arrived, we were told that they stop selling waffles at 9:30. We checked the time and it was literally 9:31. Also, we literally arrived before 9:30, but had to wait to order because the cashier was busy talking to a friend at the counter. It's pretty ridiculous that they don't uphold what is stated on the website and menu, and it's even more stupid that they would deny our order because we were 1 minute past the time they decided to not make waffles anymore.

The gluten-free crust is something I’ve been missing for the 13 years I have been gluten-free. It is thick and flaky and absolutely delicious. I would love to know the recipe! I had Vegan cheese, spinach, tempeh and pepperoni. I was surprised they even had gluten-free pepperoni! It was the best pizza I have ever had and I just wish I lived in Gainesville so I could get it all the time! My only negative is that I wish they had more seating and more comfortable seating. I don’t usually like to sit outside to eat, but they do have a big area out back for that. Thanks again! When I come back to Gainesville in a few months, I will definitely be coming by!

UPDATE - I appreciate the follow-up contact from Mark. After connecting with him, I'm glad to say that the pizza cook time was on target at a recent visit. Looking forward to going back again soon -

Have loved squarehouse over the last few years, for flavor, service (always reliably 20 minutes for an order whenever I've called in for a pickup), and the nice outdoor space.
Unfortunately I had a pizza tonight where the dough was undercooked (I could see a layer of unbaked raw dough under the sauce across most of the pizza). Raw enough that I could spread the dough with a fork.
I approached the counter staff, and they asked to see the bottom crust, which was hard, but not nearly as crisp or darkened as it's been in the past. I was told that it was lightly done, with the implication that it was ok. I didn't feel comfortable eating raw dough, so I tossed it. Not keen to try again, given other comments recently.

This pizza is soooooo good. Literally might have been the best I've ever had. I would 100% recommend coming here. We had my family of 5, got three pizzas and ate almost all of it. Spend about $40 total. It has a nice vibe and our family really enjoyed it.
It did take a bit for our pizzas to be ready, but thats probably because we ordered 3. So if you don't want to wait a while, i wouldnt recommend coming here with a group larger than about 9.
Was definitely worth the wait though! Can't wait to go back again and try other items!
