My family and I was returning back home from Vacation and decided to find a seafood restaurant during our stop in Gainesville. Our decision to try the "Seafood Dock " was definitely the best one ever.
The service was superb, our food was served without much of a wait , it was fresh, hot and presentation was on point. We were a party of five and tried different dishes from the menu . Our portions were not skimpy and the food was delicious. The environment was relaxing, clean and "Tiffany J,"❤️our server was courteous , kind and just made us feel very special.

This restaurant is a joke!!! I cannot eat corn and I wanted to get the Pick “2” special and they couldn’t substitute my corn so ask if they would deduct 1.50 cost of the corn on the menu off my bill and they refused. So instead of getting a customer paying over 70$ they got nothing. I know doesn’t hurt there bottom line but principle is principle especially in business. Understand this business will probably fail with those type of policies and protocols. Good luck. Anyone whom have particular req’s about your food do not come here!!!!!!

Food was good, cocktail sauce tastes like BBQ sauce, not cocktail sauce. Tarter sauce is tasteless other rhen mayo and sugar in it. Plastic fork broke and when asked waitress she didn't respond. No straws and glass had lipstick on it. Nearby person was playing music loud over phone overwhelmed by it. Manager should have asked her to turn off. The sample lunch basket shrimp, chicken and fried tilapia was like fast food. Good, but really breaded.

I had just gotten released from the hospital for some respiratory issues I was having. Feeling really down in the dumps and embarrassed about my health, this place revitalized my spirit. As it was 9:40 when I walked in the place and was hungry, they still took my order to go. Catfish and chicken wings is what I chose. It turned out to be delicious once I Ubered home and enjoyed it. I was able to enjoy the bar as well while I waited. Lovely atmosphere with a caring staff.

Bad service. Restaurant was empty. Server took long to even say hi with only 1 other person there. I asked how big the drink was and it upset her. I could see and hear the waitress and bartender talking about me in an unpleasant way. I just got up and left. Bad experience quickly for no reason. Wow what a great experience…. Not. Service was terrible, food was very overcooked, pricey place for an awful experience. And yeah we would’ve told the server if she would’ve checked on us 🙃 definitely won’t be back that’s for sure.
Food was great, way more than expected. Service was a little slow, but understandable with the type of food served. Accommodates large parties.

Our server, Alex was outstanding though new. Service was professional, attentive, pleasant and fast. Food was delicious and hot. Our only complaint were the crab ball appetizers. All bread crumbs, very little crab and no flavor. Presentation was very pretty though. Our waitress immediately took it off the bill and comped us 3 iced teas. Customer service at its finest. Will return and will recommend. Kudos to Alex for giving 5 evacuees a pleasant evening.
I felt like seafood and I had noticed a sign for a seafood restaurant on a previous trip. I followed my nose until I came upon Seafood Dock which was in a mall across from my hotel. There were some girls in the parking lot who were also headed for the restaurant so I asked them how it was. They were locals, and they said the food was very good. I was expecting a buffet style seafood restaurant. I don't think they had a buffet. I ordered something to take out from their takeout menu. It was their shrimp fried rice which I absolutely love. It was prepared very nicely. Delicious. The people working there were very nice. I also noticed that they had a bar as well as sit down tables. There was something different about this seafood restaurant. It had a very nice atmosphere. It made you want to come in and sit at the bar and eat seafood. I also peeked through the netting beside the cash register area and I could see the seats and people in them. This also had a very nice atmosphere. I would love to come back with friends and eat in one of the booths the next time. They have a great selection of seafood. If I had had more time, I might have stayed and eaten at the bar. I do recommend this restaurant for everything, the food, the atmosphere, and the very nice staff.

I ordered crab legs tonight and they were the most skimpiest legs I ever ordered. People like this food here but you need to go somewhere else to get A better quality for your money. If you like crab legs, there is better places to go.
