Whoever owns the Smoothie Kings in Gainesville need to be concerned. I have been a patron for years to the point where I’ve bragged on Smoothie King and even attempted to make weekly runs for my office. Well that stops today as both the 13th location and the location on Archer Road were unable to provide me with any kind of service.
The Archer Road location which I attempted first was temporarily closed and unable to make smoothies with no explanation. Ok, fine, I went out of my way to visit another location, because at this point I had an order of 3-4 smoothies I was trying to fulfill for my office. The 13th location tried not to serve me claiming they were waiting for strawberries to come off the truck and it would take a moment. I decide to wait. At which point the cashier proceeded to tell 4 other customers that she couldn’t make them anything unless it contained there 5-6 particular fruits she had available rather than make the effort to go to the back and see what was available. I don’t have to be a business owner to see how much missed profit these locations are suffering from simply from lack of service.
This will be my last time purchasing a smoothie from any Smoothie King location in Gainesville and urge others if you were considering or visiting and thinking these locations were of any quality, please don’t waste your time. It’s a shame. I wish I could give 0 stars and if it wasn’t for the promise I made to coworkers I wouldn’t have spent any money at these locations today.

I order a smoothie. Go to pick it up and the door is locked and I can see nobody in the building. I try calling, no answer. I reach out the next day & I can't get a refund or a smoothie for the mix up! Horrible customer service!

Love the pb swizzle Acai bowl. Got extra pb added for extra yumminess. Also got a strawberry guava refresher. Love when I get a little piece of fresh strawberry up my straw when drinking it. Nice extra sweet treat.

Jun 15 5pm literally no customer service whatsoever spending many minutes moving bins moving fruit washing and conducting other tasks was it again no acknowledgement that there's customers waiting at the cash register then once she finally reaches the cash register stands there nonverbal waiting for engagement from the customer.

The drink tastes good but the employees are apparently not taught not to count through money including change and then go and prepare food without washing hands first or putting on clean gloves. I don't know why establishments can't get something this simple and important done correctly, especially in this situation, where the clerk immediately used a spoon to get ice for the drink and then put it back in the cooler after handling change. I'm not going to say who or when, because this is a management issue
They always close early. On 5/23 they closed a whole 30 minutes before closing time. Would love to buy a smoothie but they are never open, it’s always a gamble to drive to this location.

It says they’re open until 10pm on the front door but when I tried to go in at 8:45 the lights were off and doors locked despite multiple employees standing behind the counter

I have been in to a few smoothie kings in different areas and this one I won’t be in again. The customer service on a Saturday day was not what I was expecting coming from Smoothie King! Just very rude and I get it it’s Saturday nobody wants to work but I have a feeling this is how they are any day of the week!!!

The location 2231 NW 13th Gainesville Fl I arrived at 8:40p the store was closed the worker with the long braids looked at me outside and turned away not saying we are closed there’s been an emergency etc.. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!! I WILL NOT RETUN!! ?
