If you want authentic Chinese food, this is the place. It is also authentically hot so ask them to dial the heat down if you can handle a lot.

Best Chinese food in town, but the portion is tragically down.

Yummy food and great service! We went there twice. First time we had Dan Dan noddle (everyone's favorite), pork fried rice, pork and bean curd. Second time we had Dan Dan noodles, shrimp fried rice, and Chongqing chicken. Everything was delicious.

Best ramen in the house!
My family and I went here for dinner Friday 7/18/25 and the food was phenomenal, it had great flavor and was fresh. It did take 10 minutes for a waitress to come by and take our order but they were relatively busy.

Best Asian restaurant in Gville. Period. Go early if possible. Tried everything from buns, dumplings, wonton soup to rice bowls and bento — all amazing. Be prepared for an endorphin explosion.

Had some good experiences here early on but over the past few months the service has steadily declined. The food is still good. But the wait times are absurd and they bring one plate to the table as it's done rather than bring the entire tables order at once. I don't know if the good food is worth enduring the truly terrible service.
The waitress even told us that we can request that the whole tables order be brought at once but they can't guarantee it... Lol. This is not an area in which to innovate. I definitely am done with this place.

Restaurantji Recommends
It is with regret that I must advise against this location if you are looking for a relaxing meal. The timing was off for everyone, appetizers came with the meal ,sake was cold...they are over focused on turning over the tables, and I can tell you they went to far at the cost of what we liked about this restaurant...the new name should be Yummy Sohoa House...they burned too bright too soon. The search is on for the next great one. Good Luck...

So disappointed in the food. It was not flavorful & packed with soooo much oil. I opted for the hot spicy ginger and garlic chicken and the stir fried cabbage. Extra spicy on the chicken. Both were pretty bland and swimming in oil. Not sure I’d try food here again when I’m in town. Service was prompt though. $32 of not so great food.

We had boss chili chicken and pork belly rice bowl. He had hot and sour soup. Both meals were excellent. Good portion sizes. A good value.

The food has nothing to do with the authentic Chinese food. But the service was good.

The food was amazing, but I got charged for 2 transactions. Not sure if I'll come back.
Edit: they managed to refund the double charge.
