Great food and friendly staff. The water is great. Sodas come in a can and with no free refills which makes it pretty costly. Other drinks like sweet tea does come with free refills.

If you are looking for the best Chinese food in town, specifically authentic Szechuan cuisine, Sohao Cafe is the place to go. The flavors here are incredibly complex and well-rounded, proving that Szechuan cooking is about so much more than just heat.
The menu has some serious highlights, particularly the cumin lamb bao, the General Tso’s tofu, and the Dan Dan or Bang Bang noodles. If you’re a fan of spice, the chili fish and chili chicken are both fantastic choices. One appetizer that people are definitely sleeping on, though, is the scallion pancake—it is a must-order.
Just a heads-up: this is not Panda Express. Don't come expecting those typical heavy, sweet flavors. However, the staff is very nice and accommodating, so if you aren't a fan of intense spice, they are happy to prepare milder versions of the dishes if you ask. It’s a great spot for anyone wanting a more elevated and authentic experience

the food is rather common and acceptable but their portion of rice is literally shrinking, one bowl of rice in sohao is not even enough to feed a child

Every time I dine in with friends, the portion of rice seems to get smaller and smaller, and it’s noticeably less than what I receive when I order takeout. I’ve mentioned this issue before, but unfortunately nothing has changed. Because of this, I honestly don’t feel motivated to dine in anymore, ordering takeout gives a larger portion of rice and doesn’t require tipping, which feels like a better value overall.

I can’t say enough how great the food is…Lizzy is an outstanding waitress….started w/the chili wontons, then…Chongqing chili fish (my favorite)…shredded pork in garlic sauce…Mongolian beef…Yang Zhou fried rice (I’d get Old Mothers next time)…Tiger beer…absolutely spot on…and I’ve been to China many times…opening soon in Magnolia Park close by my home…I’ll be there at least once a week….so many other dishes to try…

Been here twice. The boss spicy tofu is amazing and I highly recommend it. My friend always gets the Ma Po tofu and that's amazing too - I got it last time.

The food was okay. The bao buns are small, only 1 small shrimp heavily battered little to. No flavor. The pork steamed buns had little to no stuffing and the sizes of the buns were not consistent. The service was good, fast. Will I go again, maybe.

We liked this restaurant until today.
The squid was overcooked and I left hungry because I couldn’t eat it.
They took really long to bring our food out.
Two dishes arrived and 15-20 minutes later the next two dishes arrived and we still had to wait longer for the last dish to get to our table.
We won’t be back. Service was terrible.
