Sonny's is a happy place, a comfort food cove of smokey bliss. My favorite thing there is not BBQ though. Well obviously its the sweet tea, but besides that, it's the Steak Burger. It is a pricey burger but it really is the best one at the price point here in town. Also, I wanted to mention the massively upgraded the chicken tenders. I am very impressed.

Some folks love to hate on Sonny’s, but I’ve got nothing but good things to say. Every time I go, the food hits the spot and the service is top-notch. The BBQ is consistently delicious, the portions are generous, and the staff always makes you feel welcome. For me, it’s the perfect mix of comfort food and great hospitality. Sonny’s is one of those places I’ll always look forward to coming back to.

And they let my dog sit with me on the patio.

Let me tell a little story, I was famished after work yesterday, Sonny’s BBQ was nearby and sounded great after a long day. I didn’t feel like getting out of my car so I drove through the drive thru. The person I was speaking to was the nicest person I’ve ever run into while going through a drive thru! I asked them for their name, their name was Joey if I can recall correctly. I felt like I had a connection with Joey so I asked them if I could call them Jojo, they said that...
