I have a short window to get something to eat on Fridays between shifts, on Fri. 9/19 I decided to get food at Sonny's on 39th. Ave. because my daughter was getting Pomodoro we were on that side of town. I was not pleased with my ribs, they were so burnt I could barely chew them. The sides were as always, mediocre, but I really expected better for my meat than burnt ribs. I usually get food at the Sonny's on Waldo Rd. Next time, I don't care if I do have to drive all the way back across town, I will. Sonny's on 39th will nevet again get my business.

Ive been to several locations and am always happy with the consistent quality. Today, I tried the pulled pork egg rolls and was impressed! The rolls had huge pieces of pork, and the exterior was crunchy and delicious!

Food was unrecognisable some unedible, service non existent, all the wait staff was only interested in presenting dinning bill for there tip. It was bad. Give it a couple of months. They will be gone or get there act together. It's too bad, I used to like the place.

Never going here again. Went through drive through got home just a few minutes away to discover the soggiest barely cooked worst fries I’d ever seen in my life. Went there a few weeks beforehand and got the absolute smallest amount of fries I’d ever seen in my life. Quality control is non existent here

We love Sonn'ys BBQ and the 39th Ave location is our favorite. The staff is always freindly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Our food is always so good!! We dine and get it to go. The loyalty app is great, we've been Sizzlin status since July!!!

Stopped at Sonny Barbecue on the way to High Springs, and wow — hands down the best BBQ I’ve ever had! The portions are massive. We split one platter with four kinds of meat, coleslaw, and beans. Absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend!

Delicious BBQ! We got the maple burnt ends and the chopped beef brisket. Both were good, but go for the brisket! Super tasty. Save room for the banana pudding for dessert.
