I have a short window to get something to eat on Fridays between shifts, on Fri. 9/19 I decided to get food at Sonny's on 39th. Ave. because my daughter was getting Pomodoro we were on that side of town. I was not pleased with my ribs, they were so burnt I could barely chew them. The sides were as always, mediocre, but I really expected better for my meat than burnt ribs. I usually get food at the Sonny's on Waldo Rd. Next time, I don't care if I do have to drive...

Ive been to several locations and am always happy with the consistent quality. Today, I tried the pulled pork egg rolls and was impressed! The rolls had huge pieces of pork, and the exterior was crunchy and delicious!

We love Sonn'ys BBQ and the 39th Ave location is our favorite. The staff is always freindly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Our food is always so good!! We dine and get it to go. The loyalty app is great, we've been Sizzlin status since July!!!
