Service was very slow. Food overpriced for the quality. Won't be going back anytime soon.

Excellent service!!! Everyone is so nice and polite from greeting you the second you walk in to the waiters. We went for weekend brunch and it is worth every penny. It's a buffet style but the food quality that's served is top notch. Our favorite were the grits and shrimp and the beef wyagu sliders. They also have this omelette station that my stomach could not fit but I would've loved an omelet. I want to try to make this a monthly thing with friends. Try going the second it opens because it got busy super fast.

Now this is a restaurant. Clean, crisp and elegant decor. The staff goes out of their way to make it an enjoyable experience. GET THE GRITS! My god, heavenly. I'm upset that I didn't get the bigger steak. Didn't look like much... but the flavor... perfect. I'm not a big lamb fan... however, not gamey and a nice amount of meat.

We were in Gainesville on Valentines Day and decided to try Spurriers since my husband is a UF grad. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The ambiance was perfect for the celebration. And as an extra bonus Steve Spurrier and his wife happened to be there and he stopped at our table. He was as gracious and friendly as you might expect. unfortunately, we forgot to take a photo.

Overpriced food for absolutely no reason, because their food is mid AF. Service is great because the waiters are trained to be good so no shade to them. The only reason people go here is because it's a gator museum, honestly this would do wonderful as a sports bar but they made it a lame museum fancy restaurant with overpriced mediocre food therefore I will never go again. I ordered chicken and waffles and it was mid AF. People pretend to like the restaurant because it's a Gainesville classic. Two stars out of pity.

The ambiance is not fine dining, but nice casual. It has a football theme. The food is more upscale & better than average. The vegetables were perfectly cooked-not too mushy, not too crisp. The noise level is moderate. There are interesting displays of champion rings & trophies.

The ambiance is so cool!! Sports fans, especially Gators, will enjoy. The service is perfect and the brunch buffet is over the top!!!

During our visit to Spurrier's Gridiron Grille, we were impressed by their delicious miso Brussels sprouts. The sprouts were perfectly roasted and coated in a flavorful miso glaze, offering a delightful combination of savory and umami flavors. The welcoming atmosphere and attentive service made it a memorable dining experience.

Pretty good overall, when we entered it was very noisy but once we were sat in the dining room things calmed down. The waiter had an assistant which worked out for very good service. The prices were reasonable and they had very wide array of beer, cocktails and wine. We got 3 6oz filets and they varied a bit in size but were cooked as ordered. The proteins were all cooked well, the red fish was very good. The proteins were definitely the star of the dish as they should be but the carrots and broccolini were both served warm, not hot. The dishes were also not served at the same time, definitely a huge negative for me. The short ribs and mushroom risotto was excellent, probably the best dish we had. The serving size generally left room for desert, which I personally love. Just notable if you like oversized portions. We rarely see chocolate mousse on a desert menu so we jumped at the chance and it was awesome. Kudos to the chef that made the mousse. They had a nice port selection which paired nicely with the mousse. I heard parking could be tough but we got a spot on the street out front, lucky for us perhaps?

Whenever I visit Gainesville, I treat my parents to dinner at Spurrier's Gridiron Grill. We always enjoy our meals and the service is equally outstanding. I look forward to my next visit!

Went here for dinner with coworkers and our table was outside. It was a Friday and they had live music on the lawn beside the restaurant. Very good cover band that play a little bit of everything. At my table the squid ink linguine, veggie burger, house salad, fish dip, cheesy rolls, Brussels sprouts, broccolini, street corn, bread pudding with ice cream, and cookies were ordered. The Brussels sprouts were yummy, cheesy rolls, veggie burger had a lot of flavor. Broccolini was very lemony. The bread pudding was okay but may have been better if it was warm. Overall I loved the vibes and the Brussels the most. Jimmy was our server and was great!

I found myself in Gainesville looking for a spot for dinner. Spurriers did not disappoint. Wednesday night is half price wine on bottles under $75. The menu had something for everyone. We ended up getting buffalo chicken dip and artichoke dip for appetizers and they were good. For my entree, I got the blackened redfish with broccolini. The service was good, but a bit slow. We were seated on the outdoor covered patio and the weather was perfect. The inside dining room was lively and. They had a lounge that would be perfect for watching games. This place is a great, relaxing spot. If my kid ends up going to UF, I'll definitely be back.
