An Exceptional Team!

I want to give a huge compliment to the entire Starbucks team — everyone here is always incredibly kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. You can truly feel that they enjoy what they do, and it creates such a positive atmosphere.

I especially want to mention Nashville (I hope I got the name right). He is genuinely one of the most pleasant and uplifting people I’ve ever met at Starbucks. Always attentive, sincerely friendly, and what really sets him apart is that he truly cares about people. It’s not just polite small talk — he’s genuinely interested, engaged, and radiates positive energy.

In a time when kindness can often feel superficial, Nashville’s authenticity stands out. You can see that he truly loves his work — and that makes every visit here special. Huge thanks to him and the entire team for making this Starbucks such a wonderful place!

I’ve been so impressed with the new management and amazing team at this Starbucks in Gainesville! From the moment you walk in, you can feel the difference—everyone is so friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The new management has clearly set the tone for a great work environment, because the employees go above and beyond to make sure every order is right and every customer feels valued.
The store is always clean, the service is quick, and the energy from the staff is so positive. Whether I’m grabbing my morning coffee or stopping by in the afternoon, I leave with a smile. Huge shoutout to the entire team here—you can tell they really care about their customers. This is hands down my favorite Starbucks!

No one appears to know what they are doing. Not a pleasant person among the staff. Coffee not up to standards. To many other coffee choices downtown, won’t be back.

There have been lots of great changes recently. The new manager is very friendly and is always at the store. The service and culture finally resembles a true starbucks. It's nice to see the store staffed and looking sharp.

Atmosphere is terrible with homeless people asking for money to go inside to buy them drinks. New manager is rude evil and just plain out disrespectful.

Love this place and the team employees. They are so kind. The new upper level manager unfortunately is really not up to par. She’s been rude, slow, bad attitude and impatient and the overall staff moral seems to really be suffering. Hopefully the higher up’s can step up and look out for the whole team. 🩷

There's a new manager at this place and she's absolutely horrid.
She doesn't know how to do any of the drinks or anything really she has to keep asking her employees how to do everything. And then she yells at them. And the service is really slow because it seems like everybody there is new. Nobody really knows how to do any of the drinks properly or how to ring them up. It appears that all of the people who were veterans of Starbucks were scared off by this new manager. Well she's scaring off the customers too!

It’s not a bad place to get a coffee however Ive never gone without the exterior having homeless scattered around asking for a coffee and it’s the only Starbucks I’ve ever been to where if you don’t tip they just stop and kind of walk away. It’s happened numerous times, as soon as they see no tip they don’t say ā€œthank youā€, ā€œhave a good dayā€ or ā€œyou can grab your coffee there!ā€ They literally walk away. Also I’ve notice if you do tip your coffee is fuller and taste better. I’m an avid Starbucks customer, I’ve been to branches all over the country and for some reason that one in particular is just different. If you need coffee, they have it but, don’t expect the ā€œStarbucks experienceā€.

It's Starbucks. No surprises. It does not have a drive through and homeless people are very present 80% of the time. Very nice, but if you are in a hurry they like to chat.

Typical college town employee behavior. Employees act like we are already supposed to know what we want, they didn’t help us and skipped past us to the next couple in line. The drinks were fine and so was my sandwich but when I asked for a straw the guy looked at me stupid and said umm maybe go try the place next door….seriously…you sell drinks for a living.

Horrible. I WORK at starbcuks and i came in because my sister asked me to grab a coffee. The first transaction I had was fine but then I had to order a crossaint since I forgot and this lady who had a coffee master apron, rung me up and it SAID ā€œgr latteā€ so OBVIOUSLY i assumed she rung me up for a latte which wasn’t what I ordered. When i politely asked if that was correct she scoffed, turned the screen at me (had no idea what i was looking at) and walked away. My manager would never let this behavior slide
