I visited on a Friday midday. Good staff. They were upbeat and fun and didn't mind taking the time to talk even though they were getting ready for an event. The aesthetics were great! There's indoor, porch, open air, and gazebo seating. There's a good selection of beers including good sours. Key line was my favorite. Having a good truck at 3p was great so I could miss the crowd when the band arrives.

I’m disappointed in the parents and staff at Swamp Head. It’s an absolute zoo every time I take my kids there. The parents don’t seem to care, letting their kids throw rocks and sticks at gators. The staff does not seem to care saying “I’m not their parents what do you want me to do”. I want to love this outdoor space but the customers and staff make it that I never want to return.

Excellent brewery in South Gainesville! A true Florida gem with locally themed beers and a great atmosphere. My wife and I both sampled several of their offerings including several sours. They have an extensive food truck rotation weekly that provide delicious bites. The Kalacrow wood fired pizza was fantastic!

we were visiting from out of state and decided to try this place—so glad we did!! best craft beer we’ve had so far. we got a flight and they let us taste a few as well. we especially enjoyed the caramel roll milk stout, the 2025 double imperial stout, the understory ipa, and the not a flamingo ipa. so sad they don’t have more locations. we will absolutely be back!

Swamp Head Brewery is a great place to relax and hang out with friends. The atmosphere is laid-back, there are plenty of seating options both indoors and outdoors, and the whole space is very dog-friendly, which is a huge plus. Always a solid spot to enjoy good beer and good company.

Dancing, neon lights like iridescent fireflies reminding us of why we also move our bodies in random, nonsensical ways. Why do we do this? Why? I do not know. We excite with neon lights and beautiful sights and spectral frights at Neon Nights 2025.
