We love this place and the beers - we regularly visit either Swamp Head or First Mag whenever we are in Gainesville.
I'm a particular fan of IPAs, and Swamp Head's Understory, Big Nose, and now Gainesville Green are among my favs.
The taproom is spacious and pleasant, and the staff friendly and efficient.

I have nothing bad to say, but it was posted here that Swamp Head has a selection of NA (non-alcoholic) drinks and they do NOT. They have root beer and ginger ale but no NA beer or wine.

Friendly staff and nice location. Visiting from out of state and got here early afternoon; mostly empty but got busy at around 6. Beer was really good, and I appreciate there being a changing table in the men's bathroom for once.

Absolutely love this place. The vibe, space and people are amazing. Super dog friendly except inside during certain animal events but the beer selection is vast and it was a lot of fun to try different ones. The hillside is gorgeous and perfect for working on your tan while listening to live music or in the evening, watching bats fly over the beautiful pond.

Came here in the evening after the softball game. Had plenty of seating and the set up was great. Had a big tv inside for the basketball game and good music playing. Got a flight that included the king cake, irish stout, strawberry pineapple understory and mango creamsicle. All were really good. King cake was my favourite. They also had plenty of non beer and n/a selection.

We have a handful of good breweries in town. Swamp Head is definitely the best of them when considering the quality of the beer itself.
The setting is really nice, and they're extremely dog friendly. I'd give 6 stars if I could.
