Looking for a hotdog joint and Sweetberries came up as an option. Had a Chicago dog and an all American dog. Best dogs we ever had. Next time your in Gainsville and craving a hotdog, be sure to check out this place. We will be back.

The best food at the best value - and from the owners on down, the very best people!

The place was ICE cold so we sat outside and are grateful that there was some coverage as it had just rained. There was some confusion with ordering soup, it then not being on the receipt and not getting the soup and it's sad they tempeh as a substitute but no vegan cheese or vegan sauce as a substitute since it's mixed with Mayo. The guy at the register (goodlooking) was very nice. The one with the beard (and glasses?) not so much. The ladies were nice. One thing to note is that my friend handed over his card but was never asked to sign nor give a tip and since we didn't get a receipt we don't know if a tip was chosen for us. It's also not in the nicest neighborhood but they did a good job with the deck. Not as nice as their prior location. We both enjoyed the food

Vegetarian options: Make it more vegan friendly

Always 5 star service! Love this place. Great food and even better frozen custard! Friendly and efficient staff really make you feel welcome and appreciated. If you're near UF and want a great meal check out Sweetberries on 5th! (There is also one on campus, but haven't been to that location)

Great food brought out to your table (or inside); menu has an interesting mix of choices - I was bummed they were sold out of the cactus chilly; vegetarian options; when finished go back and get a smooth delicious custard for desert.

Sweetberries never lets me down ? always great food and the cutest atmosphere and surprisingly reasonable price. I’ve tried all of their sandwiches and none of them have let me down!

The food was good as always, but the service was pretty slow on this occasion and the location just isn't as nice as the old one -- less airy and inviting, felt a bit more cramped, and not as nice a patio. It's a shame they had to move. But I still really like the food.

she hated being there.

I’ve been coming to Sweetberries for a few weeks now and can honestly say it’s hands down the best. I’ll never regret trying it out! There are always friendly faces greeting you and ready to be of services. I walked in and was immediately told about the special of the day, flavor of the day, concrete and soup.
After placing an order for dine-in they give you a number and bring the food to you which is awesome for a place this size. They have 2 bathrooms which are kept clean and walls filled with art. The outdoor space is also nice although we decided to dine indoors.
What prompted me to post this review however was the staff. They have a tiny window for the kitchen in which orders come out of but in that window you can clearly see into the kitchen. Even though they’re kept away, if you go up to the window you’re always greeted with smiling faces, music and someone willing and ready to help. The staff as a whole is knowledgeable and helpful. 10/10. They keep things clean and fresh and are constantly moving! So even though food can take around 15-20 minutes, it is worth the wait because you know you’re getting your food made to order and not some old crap.
A few employees whose names I’ve remembered are honestly some of the kindest kids I’ve met in the service industry. I believe their names were Billy, Emily, Janice and Joy. I’ve written them down so I don’t forget but man! Please come here, it’s a cute little place with some of the best sandwiches and custard in town.

We love the tempeh philly and other vegetarian options here. The Hawaiian Custard can't be beat. We've been going to Sweetberries for years. It's always good.

Vegetarian options: There are multiple tempeh or mushroom based sandwich options that are very tasty.
