This place is awesome! I got the braised chicken quesadillas and the cheeckle. Very flavorful, the slaw and microgreens really add to the meal. Atmosphere is so lovely, it’s parked at First Magnitude brewery. Was biking by, heard the live music and decided to stop. So happy I did, definitely check this place out!

I had Taino Roots for the first time last night and got the braised chicken tacos. They were the best tacos I’ve ever had!! I was blown away by how good they were and I’m a picky eater. I told my husband if I wasn’t full I would get more. 😄I will definitely be back!

Enjoyed the pork tacos while playing bingo at Blackadder. First time seeing this food truck and our whole family were impressed.

Best (flour) pork taco I have ever had!

Love love love the ceviche! It’s so nice to have a local foodtruck serving something besides pulled pork! Follow this food truck and support them, you won’t be sorry.

By far the best tacos I've ever had. You can taste each and every ingredient. I had one chicken, one fish, and one shrimp. Would come back to gainesville from Maryland just for the tacos. Keep up the great cooking!

We visited High Springs Brewing Co. and Taino Roots was set up. Initially, we were hesitant as neither of us is into seafood, however upon seeing the menu we decided to try the braised chicken tacos, roasted pork tacos, and fried cheese bites. Everything was exceptional, the tender meats were complimented by the pickled cabbage slaw and cilantro cream sauce on the tacos, and as someone who does not care for cilantro, I found them to be well balanced flavors. The fresh mozzarella with a light breading and guava dipping sauce was next level. This is definitely a food truck worth following!

I’ve been lucky now to have stumbled upon Taino Roots at two different venues. The owners are incredibly friendly and willing to bend over backwards to make anything vegan. So far I’ve had the veggie quesadilla and veggie tacos (both veganized). They were also willing to create vegan nachos for me, YUM. Highly recommend visiting them around town! This chef knows food. On a molecular level! We visited First Magnitude brewing during a quick visit to Gainesville and he was set up outside. Not hungry but curious, I visited him to eat what kind of dishes he creates. Fish ceviche on the menu. My interest was piqued. So I ask, what kind of fish? Fresh grouper, he says. Sold! Within 2 minutes of talking to him I was confident I'd eat whatever he made and the nacho fish ceviche was out of the world phenomenal! Well done my man!
