“I've been here a few times and I am proud to say that I think it's the best soul food in the area. I usually get the oxtails with macaroni and cheese and candied yams, but definitely try the meatloaf too when you get a chance! The macaroni and cheese is a must-order, seriously! The oxtails are so delicious (be sure to arrive early and get them before they sell out!) and the cornbread is done really well. Everything I've tried so far has been tasty and has left me needing a good nap. The service is super friendly and welcoming, and I have nothing bad to say about this spot. This is a restaurant where the food is so good, you'll be left deciding whether to recommend it to everyone or gatekeep it for yourself. Absolutely wonderful food and service, can't wait to be back!“
