Employees are not trained to handle food safely. The labels are changed every time a food product is put in a new container extending the shelf life indefinitely. Rude employees and management. Subpar food unless you enjoy a half cup of mustard on your sandwich.

I am a regular customer here but after today will not be returning to this cafe. Their manager would rather loose over $200 a month in revenue than give a regular customer her breakfast because your system is messing up. If it can't process an employee id. If its the 3rd one that morning you know something is wrong with YOUR system. But you would rather embarrass me and take my food back over $8!! I was crying I was so upset. I went to the cafe next door and my enployee id worked fine so No its YOUR ststem. You could of written my number down and ran it later or you could of let me bring my debit card. Both you refused and took my food. WOW

The people in the know agree: Terrace Market Café is the best food in the hospital.
Ordered a tuna salad wrap with less than $6 and it tasted great. Pretty healthy&cheap&tasty options you could find on campus.

As someone who knows more about that place than I should. I would advise everyone to steer clear. The only reason they have ever passed a health inspection is because the owner owns most of the wendy's in the area and they get several days advanced notice that he is coming. At about 10:30 every day half of the staff goes outside to smoke pot at the bus stop including 2 "managers ". Be warned the place is filthy. Stay away.

Unfortunately my sister and I have to frequent UF Shands Hospital with our mother several times a year. This morning we decided to get a bite while she in surgery only to be met with a very rude manager and check out clerk. We placed our order and as I do not eat eggs, I asked the man if I could just have a grilled cheese. He said yes. However when my order arrived it had egg on it. I told him I could not eat the eggs and the manager started yelling, at me, that they are not allowed to make grilled cheese ever. He ripped it out of my hands and said he would fix it this one time. My mouth fell open. One of cooks came over and apologized for his boss and said it was not our fault. Plus my sister said her eggs tasted like Garlic. When people having no choice but to eat at a hospital restaurant and are already stressed they should not have to deal with hateful employees.
