Texas Roadhouse has been our go to for years. We have tried the one in Gainesville twice. The music is so loud you can not hear what the hostess is saying to you as she is walking you back to your table, had to ask our waitress to repeat herself when she was attempting to get our order. The manager came by our table and my husband expressed to her that it’s sad that we could not hold a conversation with each other because the music was so loud. She said I will go turn it down. It was just a few minutes and I saw her getting her coat and she was leaving. The next thing we noticed the volume was turned back up. We ask for our food to be to go. The Ribeye was extremely tough. Needless to say Texas Roadhouse in Gainesville,Florida we will not be back. I am sure you do not care. Texas Roadhouse in Lake City Florida is twenty stars above you.

Our server Trinity was fabulous. She was very accommodating and attentive. The steak was juicy and cooked to perfection. The chili is more of a texas chili so it had deeper flavors than the typical ones here in Florida. Trinity gave me a extra bag of peanuts upon request. We went at lunchtime on a tuesday and it was packed. Even so we got a table in under 5 mins. Parking was full at the front, we needed a handicap spot. We did find a spot to the side area of overflow parking. Overall would recommend

Rude staff. Always an issue at this location. Girl at the door suppose to be taking names for waiting list on the phone waves us through. Then we get into the restaurant and get told we need to check in with the girl at the door. We walk out girl still on the phone no clue what's going on. The food is always amazing but the staff kill the experience.
