This Texas Roadhouse in Gainesville wasn't the best. I just wish servers were taught to stay near their tables-to be near when needed, not hang out in the kitchen or at the stations talking to co-workers. When I was taught to serve, it was to anticipate and be available for my clients needs. Not hanging out with their backs to you or staying in the kitchen. They have food runners. You make money from tips....being there for the client=good tips. We waited, waived, called...
Every time that I come here, the service is absolutely amazing. The servers are always friendly and are extremely prompt with taking our order, grabbing our drinks and refilling any breads. The food is always hot and the bread is always fresh, but this location seems to have an issue with how long it takes for food to actually get out to the tables. It always takes at least 30 to 45 minutes for the food to come out when we get our steaks cooked as medium and medium rare. Tonight...
What an incredible franchise. We’ve travelled across the entire United States over the last month and have dined in at 8 different restaurants. From Florida to Utah and everywhere in between, every single meal has been 10/10 without fail. Top tier big steaks, not some fancy little 2oz steak you pay $150 for. Best bang for your buck and the service is always great. I can’t even compare it to anything we have back in Australia 🇦🇺. I wish we had one back home
