I’m honestly exhausted with how mediocre the service at Cheesecake Factory has become, especially while the prices keep climbing. Tonight was just disappointing from start to finish. We were seated in the bar area at a high-top, and at first everything seemed fine. Our server black hair, claw clip, took our order, and I got the same thing I always get: spaghetti and meatballs. But the service went downhill fast. It took forever to get anyone’s attention when I needed to report an issue with my food (and I never complain about Cheesecake Factory’s food). I finally flagged down someone who wasn’t even my server, and they said they’d grab her. She didn’t come back for over 12 minutes. My food was mushy, overcooked, and basically flavorless. The remake came out just as bad, and at that point I didn’t have the energy to keep pestering. It took ages to get the checks, and then another 13 minutes just to get her to take our cards. We tipped 18% for service that honestly didn’t deserve it, but I hate causing a scene. Our bill was $71 before tip, and for food and service this bad, it’s just ridiculous. Oh I also came around 8 so it was slow so I don't see an excuse here. Please do better cheesecake factory, what happened?

expensive for what they offer 5 oz of meat for 25 😆 no thanks, fish and chips for 24 $ a shame, their price change is not in line with an increase in quality, they lost a customer here

It's my own fault. I ordered the Thai Chicken Salad because I wanted to try something new...order remorse. The chicken satay was really good but I was not prepared for the cucumbers to have been in vinegar. It was a 3 out of 10 but, lesson learned....order what I know and like.

We came to cheesecake factory to have a little bite to eat. The cheesecakes were super good and tasty! Our server was Justin who was delightful throughout his service, always polite and cheerful! Interactions with other staff were also welcoming! Thankyou!

We went during shift change I guess on September 4th 2025 the first waiter was so nice and understanding and kind towards us she let us know we would get a new waiter and the new lady came over. She was off the bat rushing us to finish and kept watching us eat and then came over with the bill prior to us asking for it and or wanting it we were still eating and were trying to enjoy our daughters special day. After that she came over asking to box our food mind you we were still eating and it made us feel rushed we agreed to boxing it up and left with pretty much a full plate of food in our box. We love Cheesecake Factory but this time was not a great time.

Food is overpriced to the moon. Haven't been to a Cheesecake Factory in years and decided to give them a shot. Upon tasting the food I immediately regretted my decision. It was the epitome of the large restaurant chain stereotype: super greasy, sugary, mass produced food, where over the decades, corporate figured out all the little corners they can cut to lower costs, while stuffing the food with cheap fat and sugar and keeping a fancy look to justify the high price.
I could taste the sweetness in the appetizer bread, especially the black one. The meat in my $20 greasy burger had very little flavor, the bun was sweetish, and, of course, greasy. I would have preferred a burger from McDonalds, no question.
Even the $14 cheesecake slice was not great. It was about the same quality or worse than what you can find at a grocery store like Publix. Not something I expected from a place that prides itself on its cheesecake. I feel sorry for the chef in the back who is probably forced to cook this soulless food all day against their better judgement.
I didn't spend much time there but from what I saw, the staff was friendly and the interior was nice. If you don't care much about food or you like sweet, greasy food, you'll probably enjoy it here.

Normally I don't write reviews but, In this instance when you see someone go above and beyond I thought it proper. In that, the dining out experience has lost a lot of its luster for us. Last week we waited in an empty restaurant (Not the cheesecake factory) at the counter for ten min before staff that where visible would acknowledge our presence. when someone finally came... they rolled their eyes the whole time we were giving our order...so needless to say we did not stay. Working hard and putting quality into what you is only one component to good service the other is disposition. With that being said...Owen is an asset to your team. He was friendly and seemed very knowledgeable about the menu and made good recommendations eager to help and just had a great attitude that naturally will connect with people. Having a clean table, orders that are not forgotten, food that doesn't come to the table raw or looks thrown on a plate, and a waiter/waitress that wants to make certain that those things are met and does so with a smile should be the absolute standard.

Really one of the best restaurants in Gainesville. The vibe is wonderful and the service is neither overbearing nor impolite, but thoughtful and generous!
They make the food good here, in the sense, you’d think you can’t mess up breaded chicken but there are some places that does.. This place makes a delicious breaded chicken for pasta! Cheesecakes are consistently crave-satisfying. It’s such a nice place to come with a group for a good dinner option for everyone.

I used to enjoy eating here. Since 2 yrs to now, I noticed the quality of the food has diminished and prices have gone up. My wife’s bistro burger came rare when we ordered medium, it was sent back and finished cooking instead of getting her a fresh one . Bread was not readily available until after 10 minutes into our dinner. A dinner serving of pasta with vodka sauce $24.95 ! Really! Not even a slice of cheesecake as a courtesy for a birthday celebration. The best dinner plate was a Sheila salad, everything else looked lame. By the way the young waitress was very nice and attentive. On the way out even though they were at least 4 young people hanging around the podium nobody bothered to thanks us for coming in or at least say goodbye. I will scratch you off my restaurant list. Too many other places to go.
