I came here with a group of 8 and were told we could not sit together due to a fire hazard. That i understand. However, from the beginning, the female server had an attitude. When we tried asking suggestions such as sitting outside so we could sit together but immediately shut us down. and proceeded to say “eat somewhere else” which we went next door to the thai sushi place and was pleasantly surprised by their delicious lunch special and good service. It’s not what she said that bothered my group but how she said it

Wasn’t even able to eat in, our party ended up having to leave. We were a party of 8 and understood that they had trouble accommodating us but the waitresses attitude was the main problem. They had just opened the place they were not busy, and the waitress told us we could leave and eat somewhere else. She was rude, and short with us and didn’t even attempt to compromise.

Well I think this has got to be the most expensive brunch I’ve ever had personally. My fiancée and I tried this place out for a couple breakfast sandwiches earlier this week. We’d heard nothing but great things about this place, so we were looking forward to trying it out. We both thought the sandwiches were okay, but nothing too special. Certainly very large portions, but kinda missing a bit of taste. Regardless, the main issue was just the quality of the food. This is undoubtedly odd, but we had both mentioned to each other that the bacon in our sandwiches was hard. Not crispy or anything like that, but genuinely hard. It was like chewing on a rock because all of the pieces were stuck together and folded over. After leaving, my fiancée was complaining the whole way home that her jaw was hurting. We checked her out once we got home and noticed that one of her teeth was chipped. We take her to the dentist and they then hit us with a bill of $1,500…So certainly not the most pleasant dining experience. Chipped tooth aside, we both felt the food was overpriced for what it was and just not that great. You are certainly pay for quantity and not quality. Coffee was great though lol. All in all, can’t say I recommend this place.

Really nice breakfast/brunch spot with delicious sandwiches and filling portion sizes. Small but cozy layout.

THE BEST BRUNCH IN GAINESVILLE! If you love crispy bacon, correct proportions of champagne to oj mimosas, mouth watering French toast, fresh fruit and great service this is the place for you. The staff are friendly and attentive and the vibes are great. 100/10 recommend

Sub-par service. The person who took my order did not offer water, did not bring napkins or utensils, took forever to close out the check, did not check on me to see how the food was or if I needed anything until I had already finished, did not introduce themselves or say their name. Amateur at best, lazy and disinterested at worst.

Very cute little place, friendly staff and delicious food. Menu was a touch limited by sold out items but everyone in our group was happy, vegetarians included. They e was a bar with beer on tap but it was clean and friendly enough that we were happy to bring our kids.

Was amazed with the quality of the food. The sandwiches here were to die for. Everything was extremely fresh and delicious. Will definitely be coming back soon to try more off their menu.

Went to Leaning Pig for first time tonight. A friend and I each ordered a sandwich. The food was good! The service was adequate. There would be five stars if our server had not displayed such poor form when we paid the bill. You really should allow your cash patrons to decide your tip instead of trying to decide it for them.

Awesome shop. I got the Big Pig to go so didn’t get a chance to dine in the cozy ambiance inside. But the staff were so nice and the tables outside would have been a lovely spot on a warm December day.The pig jowl is new to me and super yummy. I was surprised at first by it being served on plain old’ toasted white bread. But after a couple bites you realize that it’s the perfect combination to accent the multitude of dancing flavors in this fine sandwich.Next time in Gainesville I’m definitely going to try out there intriguing breakfast too. This is the kind of cafe I look for

We came here after all the good reviews, however we were very disappointed and won’t be returning. They were out of literally half their menu. The water was warm and we were not offered ice. They brought my food first, then my boyfriend’s ten minutes later. I asked for butter for the toast, which said it would be buttered on the menu, and the butter was too hard to even use. I wanted to order the Two Egg Breakfast but they don’t serve grits or fruit during the week apparently. The food was really not that great either, pretty greasy and my eggs I asked for over easy were more so over hard.
