Easily the best place to grab a bite with friends after class. Clean, good service and a large outdoor screen to watch games. Loved all of it!The Buffalo chicken dip with pita is excellent ?

Bar food- nothing special. Restaurant is a local hangout for sports fans and students. Good enough for a few beers and a snack.

Swamp is great! I’ve ordered the Freshman 15 burger (no jalapeños) twice now and it is so good. I love an egg on a burger, so I’m already biased, but this is a delicious burger. They use a slightly sweet maple bacon that really ties everything together. Plus, the restaurant has lots of great Gators stuff inside.

We had a party of 40 people, the staff at The Swamp were awesome and did a great job of taking care of us. I'll definitely be

This may be the most perfectly laid out college bar and sports bar at any university. It's a nicely repurposed home with indoor and outdoor seating, plenty of TVs, including a massive projection screen outdoors. Inside, it's on the intimate side (for a sports bar). Staff very attentive, menu is deep and the food is rather good. They had some intense cornhole games on the side and it's all wrapped in a white picket fence. I didn't go to UF, nor did anyone in my family. This was my second time in Gainesville, first time really spending genuine time there. Great little town and this bar is as close to perfect as it gets. Would strongly recommend. My shrimp quesadilla was elite.
It's ok. The service is a little slow for how few customers there are. The buffalo chicken wrap was meh... The chicken tenders were great, could tell it was freshly breaded

Had a lot of fun here in the mid-2000's. Ric Flair was a regular and everyone would be WOOOOOOOOOOing all night. This was when The Swamp was still located on University across from Campus. I'm not sure how it is now, but you used to be able to leave UF Football games during half-time and be allowed re-entry afterward, so you could go visit nearby restaurants or bars during halftime and come back to the Stadium with more "Spirit" in you. Although The Swamp is in a different location (1104 SW 2nd Ave), you should definetly give it a try. Plus there are probably a lot less Frat Boys now that it isn't so close to Frat Row- if that even bothers you at all, never bothered me.
