I got the chef's special and unfortunately they were out of steak and barbacoa because I went so late. THEY MADE UP FOR IT WITH THE FLAVOR! Everything was great. My partner and I were really happy with the food and there were even cheaper options if you don't want to drop $20 on a meal.

You can eat for $3 here. Be sure to remember who fed you when you only had $3 and you make it big.

10/10, will be going back

Vegetarian options: They allow free substitutions of any protein for beans, but the food will lose a lot of it's flavor without the meat.

They also have shrimp as an option if you still eat sea food.

Parking: Taco truck that changes spots, so check to make sure it's open on Google maps first.

Kid-friendliness: 100%. The people that work in the truck were making the kids in line in front of us giggle and get excited about the tacos

Wheelchair accessibility: Might be hard to reach the window, but based off of how nice the employees are, they'd probably get out of the truck to take your order and bring you your food.

One of the most delicious and reasonably priced food trucks that I've had the pleasure of dining at.

The quesadillas are the star of the show, and they're so darn good—crispy fried and flavorful, with a substantial amount of filling. Of the three proteins we tried, our favorites were the al pastor and the chicken, and we'll be back to try the rest.

We got the Mama meal, which came with pico de gallo, pickled vegetables, and rice with black beans. The pico and the vegetables were must-haves; they amped the experience and flavor, adding a much enjoyed hit of freshness to our meal. The rice and beans are a welcome sidekick, especially after adding pickled veg and avocado crema sauce.

We also ordered the breakfast burrito with bacon. Truly the breakfast of champions! This full size burrito comes stuffed with seasoned scrambled eggs, potatoes, and cheese, and is accompanied by a salsa and two sauces that I cannot recall the names of. One of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had; this item should not be overlooked! It starts off less flavorful and texturally varied than other burritos, but the great advantage is that it's highly customizable. I was able to achieve my ideal mix of savory, salty, vinegary, and fresh using the included salsa and sauces. So good!!! 👩🏻‍🍳💋👌🏼

All in all, Tonydillas brings something special to the Gainesville food scene, and I'm so excited to share it with more friends and family in the future.

It's a hidden food truck, but the food is top five in the city. Came here with my girlfriend for the first time in early December and I've already been back countless times. I think they recognize me!

The breakfast burrito is good but the quesadillas are the best I've had. All meat options are good, but the chicken is my favorite! The queso is also awesome. Dip a quesadilla in it, I'm telling you.

My only complaint is I wish they were open all week!

Tony Dillas is one of the best Mexican food trucks I’ve tried. I ordered the Chef’s Style, featuring four signature cheesy quesadillas. The barbacoa ones were perfectly juicy and tender, and the chicken quesadillas were equally flavorful and moist. Their sauces were absolutely incredible—each one brought out even more flavor when paired with the quesadillas.

For dessert, I had the fried guava and cream cheese treat, which was a total standout. The cream cheese balanced the guava sauce perfectly, and the sweetness was just right—rich but not overpowering.

The food is reasonably priced, and the owner is super friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. If you’re looking for delicious, satisfying quesadillas and dessert, Tony Dillas is a must-visit!
