Tropical Smoothie Cafe

A bit pricey, but service was quick and the smoothies are good.

They always are a pleasure to talk to. Very friendly and always helpful and patient. Most places seem robotic with customer service but you will always get genuine service and passionate workers that actually care about making your experience a good one. I am a Loyal customer that will always come back. Shout out to the management team for making this place run as good as it does!

Best smoothie place in gainesville hands down! Always BEST customer service and always BEST food and smoothies!

I stop by on my morning commute to work each day for a smoothie and bowl or a wrap, I seriously can’t get enough. You’ve got to try the blimey limey or their peanut butter smoothies! I stopped by and had my typical morning smoothie and grabbed some food yesterday and as always was greeted immediately and left happy as can be! The staff is always so helpful and accommodating. He always has new suggestions for me to try and beyond helpful with any modifications I may request. I saw a comment about food poisoning and am beyond shocked! I can’t imagine it came from here, I’m here every morning and have never had any sort of issues like that! Including yesterday! If you’re in the area or passing by work, it’s a must to stop by for your daily pick me up! I’ll for sure be continuing my morning stop 🥤

I eat here daily for lunch never had any problems with the food. I really don't believe the comment that someone had food poisoning no way. I give this place 5 stars all the way around ??????

UPDATE: Got food poisoning from this place yesterday. Saw another reviewer who got it too.

For the other reviewers calling me and the other person a liar. YOUR experience is not MY experience. I understand better than anybody how they are supposed to handle and prepare the food as I used to work for TSC for years and I know how easy it is to leave the chicken out too long. Me and my mother were both ill after getting food from this location this past Sunday. We ordered three sandwiches and had to warm up ALL three in the microwave (10 minutes after picking it up) because they were lukewarm which i thought was odd but I decided not to complain to them.

The next day, both me AND my mom were sick in addition to this other reviewer who apparently had to go the hospital. NOT a coincidence

Also, very unprofessional look for the cafe to have a group of people (regulars or not) leave 3 reviews all within the same hour calling me a liar and harassing me after reporting MY experience. If you did not eat the same sandwich as me at the same time as me, you should mind your business, respectfully :-) If you actually knew how they section and store the chicken then maybe you would understand how some people could get ill and others might not. But you don't, so don’t speak on things you don't know. Glad you had a great experience though!

I am a regular and I come in there twice a day for food. This location is literally the best we got in Gainesville. If there was something wrong with there food, I would have definitely known judging how much myself and my friends and friends eat there on a daily basis. I seriously highly doubt there is a food poisoning issue here. So please, if you are going to attack a place that has been so good to me, my family and friends, please have your facts straight. Keep doing what you are doing tropical smoothie! You are amazing and will continue to be my number one place to go out to eat! This place serves nothing but the freshest and best food. Saying this place has food poisoning is a joke!

waited in line to get a smoothie, let the people ahead of us order and get there stuff but once we got there, they told us it was closed. even though there was still 10 minutes left till it closed.

Really good smoothies. The smoothie combo with the peanut butter wrap is good.
