As I lay here on my couch at 10pm on a Friday night with tired eyes, a weary soul, and a tender heart from the hustle and hurry of the week, I am completely satisfied and grateful for my leftovers. I’ve been here twice, the first time I came to this establishment, I was skeptical. The establishment is clean and tidy, but I was thinking of my best friend’s mom. I once tried calling myself Kitty, and it never really stuck, a) because it’s a ridiculous name, and b) to demand people call you Kitty is also ridiculous. But the only person to call me Kitty with a thick English Vietnamese accent to this day is my best friend’s mom, Amy. Every time I go out to buy Viet food from a restaurant, I think of a newspaper wrapped table and scattered across it; a huge bottle of hoisin sauce, sriracha, home-made fish sauce, and whatever Amy effortlessly made. Amy shouldering every Viet party/ gathering (there are many), and most of if not every meal her family has ever eaten at home, I go to most Viet restaurants and get disappointed. I tried ordering chicken skewers, preemptively thinking about my disappointment, and the women said something along “no that’s appetizer, you need whole meal,” and I knew I was at the right place. Needless to say, I am writing all of this to say thank you for transporting me to a meal, around a newspaper wrapped table, that I have missed for a very long time.

A literal hole in the wall owned by a lovely Vietnamese couple. I had spring rolls (which were huge and hearty) and coconut shrimp. My friend had a hot beef dish that was easily enough for two meals and also delicious. I imagine this place can get pretty crowded in the student rush, but its a great spot for a quick lunch.

The pork dumplings came half cold and half hot which means they were frozen and likely microwaved. The beef pho soup tasted off...specifically the beef. It hurt all of our stomachs very soon after eating here. Please be aware of this low quality and zero effort restaurant. This food is at best just frozen chemical infused food you get at the asian market. At worst this will make someone seriously sick. I was shocked by how bad it was especially with the good reviews. I'm assuming the way this place stays in business is the college kids during the school year who eat out of packages and microwaves. We spent 25 dollars to leave more than half the food (even with how little we ate it made us sick). 25 dollars for frozen and possibly expired or improperly stored meat. Save your money and get the frozen dumplings at the store. It's literally the same thing only you can heat them properly at home.

My girlfriends and I went on a girls trip to FL and this was our last stop on the way back home. The food was absolutely amazing, and the staff were so kind, welcoming, and helpful. The owners reminded all of us of our grandparents. The place felt so homy and comfortable. The seating area is so beautiful. We loved our experience here. 10/10

THE STAFF IS SO KIND! I TRIED TO SAY THANK YOU IN VIETNAMESE AND THE LADY KINDLY HELPED AND UNDERSTOOD!!
Also, I loved the food I got dumplings with yummy poison sauce the dumplings could have been better but still good.
The Pho with tofu and veggies were SO GOOD my absolute favorite food!!! So healthy and rich and SO MUCH FOOD for good price! Too small lol to eat all. :) Right next to the place is a tea place with Boba and xiang chi shao I'm sorry I think I spelled it wrong but it was good, nothing like I've had before and fun textures. Anyways goo!! I studied here too and they didn't mind at all!!

The food is always fresh and tasty. The noodle bowl is a good start. The service is friendly and helpful. This is a great place for lunch near campus with friends or alone. There's plenty of seating for groups of four or more around.
