We were hesitant on going here because of a previous experience. Definitely glad the kids wanted chicken and we gave them another chance.
Our food was hot and fresh but what will have us returning again was our customer service. Shemeika was so nice, I really hope I spelled the name right but she was so joyful. She seemed to really enjoy her job and talking with us while taking our order. A little kindness goes a long way. I hope she feels appreciated. I thanked her before we left but I wanted to leave a review for her as well.

This location on Newberry Road has not been open that long but each time I have gone the experience has not been good. Today was the last straw. I waited about 20 minutes to receive my food only to get home and began eating my grilled sandwich and found that it was still raw. I was eating I noticed the texture changed and I looked and the inside was pink. I took the bun off and there was a big raw pink spot right on top as well. I also ordered a wings and things and the wings were undercooked as well. I contacted the store and they apologized and offered to remake it and give me a refund. I declined the remake and took the refund. However I will never return back to this location. I also advised the manager that if I get sick from eating the undercooked chicken I will be contacting corporate because it was very clear to the eye that the chicken was still raw and I’m sure the cook saw this before he decided to slap it on a bun and give it to me. The manager said oh well you were here during a very busy time which is no excuse to give someone raw food.

Slow. Food below par for zaxbys. Always out of things. So skimpy on the chicken. Nothing like 43rd or main street. Literally every salad I get has like one tender diced up. You are a chicken place

Just got dinner here for the family, and the food was terrible- almost inedible. The service was not any better. I think this has to be the worst Zaxbys in Gainesville.
