This is a popular airboat stop. A pretty cool place actually. Real back woods Florida stuff. Unfortunately they no longer serve Gator tail ??♂️They do have some acceptable beers on tap.? But of course everything is deep fried ?It's fun to watch the airboats. I was there with a hovercraft group for their annual event.Vegetarian options: Not reallyDietary restrictions: This is not a place to go if you're on a diet.Parking: If it's a beautiful day and on a weekend there are going to be boats on trailers everywhere!Kid-friendliness: This is a cool place to bring your kids. You can always send them down to the water to look for alligators ? ?

Jolly Gator Fish Camp: When you order Cajun basket and they bring regular fried basket instead…. Then to fix the situation the waitress drops off a small cuppy of “Cajun” seasoning. ??♂️You cook with Cajun seasoning. You don’t use it like salt and pepper. ??♂️Keep in mind this is a $59 meal, ordered the sample basket, swamp cabbage, and a drink. I have never tipped zero in my entire life, but when you deliver zero customer service you get zero tip today. The waitress also threw the kitchen staff under the bus by saying the kitchen is a mess. As the waitress, she could’ve fixed this situation. I even told her we weren’t in any rush. We will never return. Lone Cabbage Fish Camp is much closer and nicer and has airboats anyways.

The food is awesome! Highly recommend the Swamp Cabbage and corn fritters. The old bay peel n eat shrimp and Mahi Mahi basket are great choices as well'
So we went with friends, not knowing what to expect. Pulling off the road into the boat, landing thinking I got the address wrong. (It doesn't look like a place an awesome food joint would) WOW! Service was awesome. Food was delicious. They made you feel at home and were on top of our service for the whole
During Bike Week 2022, I was out riding with some friends from Massachusetts when we were directed by a local boy to stop in and check out straight-up native Florida delites. The Jolly Gator did not disappoint. Cold beers and all good things deep fried, from Gator bites to catfish and Mahi sandwiches and blackened grouper...don't forget the frog legs! This place is awesome! I can't wait to stop in again...!
