During Bike Week 2022, I was out riding with some friends from Massachusetts when we were directed by a local boy to stop in and check out straight-up native Florida delites. The Jolly Gator did not disappoint. Cold beers and all good things deep fried, from Gator bites to catfish and Mahi sandwiches and blackened grouper...don't forget the frog legs! This place is awesome! I can't wait to stop in again...!
Quick easy meal. Exactly what you should expect from a fish camp in the middle of nowhere. Chicken wings are on point. Water does not taste like a swimming pool like at a lot of restaurants. Don’t mismanage your own expectations. This is a simple spot for a simple meal with beautiful scenery. don’t try to get fancy in the sticks and you’ll be all right.
