“This was my second time trying ramen, and it was delicious! I had the Tonkotsu Ramen Black, without the hot sauce and it was amazing. Perfect ratio of broth to toppings. We had a variety of appetizers to start: pork gyoza, spicy shrimp tempura, edamame, and curry rice croquettes. Sorry no photos, they were too delicious to stop for a photo. They disappeared quite quickly. Yum! Arianna was super knowledgeable and friendly and guided these newbies through the Ramen choices.“

“Though The Muddy Root’s menu is already hard to beat, the real magic lies in the staff here. It doesn’t matter what day you come in; you’ll always be met by someone warm, welcoming, and ready to explain anything you’d like to know about their WIDE variety of menu items. If you’re not a kava or kratom person, this cafe offers a coffee and tea menu that’s highly customizable. Whatever you’re looking for- something sweet, something strong, something refreshing- the kavatenders (their “bartenders”) will always know how to make it happen. Even when my drink doesn’t taste right the first time (which rarely happens), the staff is beyond happy to add or substitute anything so that it’s just what I want. A literal 2-minute drive from UCF (and right between two major UCF apartments), this is an amazing study spot. Plenty of outlets and a variety of seating, plus free WiFi (after ordering). Plenty of students, professionals, and hobbyists work here, so it’s a productive environment. If you’re looking for a more social atmosphere, they also host social events all throughout the month, from trivia and AYCD kava nights to karaoke and even nature hikes! If I could rate The Muddy Root on a scale of 1 to 10, I’d give them an 11. A definite must-try!“

Cody was super cool and walked me through some seasonal coffee options to try on my next visit. It was absolutely delicious. To me it was eight different meals; the pork with each of the four elements eaten separately and then again with the beef. “This was my second time at Just Salad and they continue to impress. I tried the Tinja Chicken this round and it was so good — super flavorful and really satisfying. I also added Japanese furikake and hemp hearts, and that combo took it to another level with a great nutty, savory boost.

If you’re on the fence about customizing your bowl, don’t be. The toppings make all the difference. Definitely coming back again.

“I’ve always loved bestea, I’ve been going since basically when they opened, always been my fav restaurant but recently they’ve changed owners! Everything is still good, just a bit different! They’ve changed the flavors of certain things so, things don’t taste as fresh anymore. All the new people are super friendly there though and the sushi I got was good!“

Around 7:15pm on a Monday, we walked in the food court, they offered us bourbon chicken and orange chicken samples, both were super flavourful! (Think that classic bourbon chicken from your favorite mall growing up... straight up nostalgia)

Without hesitation, we ordered... 2x two meat plate with two sides. Both meals with bourbon chicken and orange chicken. They proceeded to make our meat options fresh to order from the kitchen (Not something you typically expect from a food court)! We loved it!

The food was just as tasty as the samples, super reasonably priced, and containers packed full!

“Omg!! This place provided me so much more than good food. The cafe is inside Million Air (I told Will there needs to be a huge “Jet-way Cafe” sign outside) where they charter private planes. There was free coffee and a “secret” lounge where I was able to kill more than 3 hours. It’s secret (shh) ?.Will, the cafe owner, was lovely & other staff in Million Air was lovely.. I tried the bruschetta, flatbread, pretzel bites, cheesesteak, queso fundido, strawberry cheesecake, and chocolate cake. Everything was wonderful. I was so especially surprised by the bruschetta and strawberry cheesecake. Both SO good! My favorite drink was the dragon fruit margarita. The presentation was BEAUTIFUL and the flavor was divine-and the strength of the drink was spot on. If you like a sweet drink, this is for you. All in all, the menu at Bar Louie was excellent.
