Went with high expectations for their salchipapas after looking at reviews but I ended up very disappointed. I’m sorry but those reviews I read must have been paid advertisement or something because out of all the colombian restaurants I have ordered salchipapa in the Tampa area, this was easily the worst I had, for the price of $16.99 for a personal salchipapa it’s not just heavily, but super heavily inflated to only include French fries with slices of hot dogs and melted cheese. Then to top it all off the sauces were not good, especially the pineapple sauce that sits on top of the salchipapa, it does not go well with the salchipapa at all. I paid $80+ for 2 salchipapa, 2 orders of chicken empanadas and 1 order of carne empanadas, that’s an insane amount for a food truck to be charging those prices. I would recommend trying out Rappi Colombia Food 100% more which to me has one of the best tasting empanadas and also the best salchipapa I have had around the Riverview area, and for a much lower price and better portion that include fries, melted cheese, shredded chicken, bits of bacon and slices of sausages with their specialty mayo ketchup sauce on top.

Sometimes you just want a juicy burger and La Calle hits the spot. We have been going since they had their food truck on Big Bend. Me and my husband always split a tropical or Hawaiian burger and get an order of salchipapas. I’m pretty confident you can’t go wrong with any food from here. Great treat meal and one of the few local Riverview spots in our rotation.

Even though the food is delicious and they serve a good portion, but I will not patronize them again, my ticket was 55 dollars for an arepa and a burger and 3 canned cokes, which I consider excessive. To make matters worse, the soft drinks were at room temperature and when I asked for ice to cool down the soft drinks that are supposed to be cold in a restaurant, they charged me one dollar for half a glass of ice. I consider it a lack of respect for the customers since they are supposed to serve you cold drinks, they won a dollar and they lost a client
